Horizon View Farms Commercial Bred Heifer Bid-Off
Each year we've been selling commercial bred heifers off the farm privately. With the amount of interest we've had this year, we've decided to try and give a fair opportunity to all by selling them in a private bidding format.
- The females are divided into groups and will have a base starting bid.
- Bidding is open now and will conclude on 12/31. Once the base has been met on a group, others interested in raising the bid can do so.
- Bidding will be done privately by phone or in person, and will be done in a minimum of $50/hd increments.
- If you are out-bid, you will be notified and have the option to re-bid.
- Winning bidders will have the option to make payment 12/31/24 or 1/1/25. Delivery will need to be arranged for the first week of January. Heifers have been culled for quality and disposition, pelvic measered prior to breeding, complete vaccination program, and have had first round scour-gaurd on 12/10 and poured with Clean-up II. Heifers are sold guarenteed bred.
