e Season Finale features the long-

principal violist Basil Vendryes performing the Bruch Romanze for Viola and Orchestra and the world premiere of William Hill’s Concerto for Viola, Strings, and Percussion written speci cally for Basil. “Under Bill Hill’s leadership and baton ECO has grown into much more than ‘just a community orchestra,’” said current ECO Operations Director and former ECO Board of Directors Treasurer (2014-16) Chanel Ziegler. Chanel also stated that ECO has performed a number of Bill’s compositions in past seasons, including his “ ree Tangos,” which was performed at the Orchestra’s 2022 Season

Foothills Professional Park located at 26055 Columbine Trail in Kittredge is a spacious, safe/secured mixed-use property located near the corner of Bear Creek and Meyers Gulch Road. e property o ers contractors/small business owners onsite o ce spaces (with windows, highspeed internet, and additional amenities), garage units, and/or outdoor storage that can house trucks, tractors, machinery/ materials, and more amidst a creek side setting.

Small o ces constituting 140-square feet (roughly an 11’x13’ size room) rent for $350/month; executive suites (750-square feet) rent for $1100/month. All-inclusive rental prices provide 24/7-access, shared conference room, high-speed internet service, printing, and more.

“Business owners can do their administration in their onsite o ce, put their trucks and expensive equipment/tools in a secure climate-controlled garage, and/ or leave their trailers, heavy duty trucks, and/or equipment outside where electrical power and video surveillance is included,” said Frank.

Combining Fun with Function: Easy Home O ce Updates

(StatePoint) Brightening up your home o ce can bring a sense of fresh energy to your workspace, but making changes can seem overwhelming if you’re not sure where to begin. Family organizing expert Jessica Litman, also known as “ e Organized Mama,” shares her pro tips to creatively update your home o ce without stress.

Unique Storage Options, Large plastic tubs can o er practical storage solutions, but for a more stylish look, change things up with woven baskets or colored boxes instead. “Regular tubs can be a quick way to organize,” Litman o ers. “But if you’re looking to create a chic appearance, try storing your les in a wire-framed basket for texture, or collapsible storage cube for a cool burst of color.”

Label the baskets to keep things organized. Make bright, removable labels with

multipurpose Duck Masking Color Masking Tape, so nding o ce supplies is a breeze.

Power of Plants. Add nature-inspired hues to your o ce with a houseplant, either fake or real. Faux plants require no maintenance at all (which removes a task from the to-do list) and can brighten a workspace to bring some color to a room. Real plants provide the added bene t of clarifying the air and can be tailored to the environment of your o ce, whether you have a sunny window or a more shaded space.

Litman adds, “Plants have been proven to reduce stress, especially during those winter months! Adding a fresh, easy-tocare-for plant is a great way to help boost morale on long work-from-home days.”

of colors and patterns to cra almost anything you can imagine.

Shi ing Schedules. Schedules are a part of everyone’s life, but that doesn’t mean getting your calendar organized has to be a chore. Use acrylic or dry erase boards, poster boards or cork as a blank slate to customize into a weekly or monthly chart. Adding items with colored markers or tape can be a way to stay ahead of due dates and meetings, as well as highlight important assignments or contacts.

Pens & Pencils Down. Who says students get to have all the fun? Jazz up your desk décor with some pencil cups, a stapler or sticky note holder to keep o ce supplies organized and fabulous. ere are no rules when it comes to how artistic you can get – make your home o ce as unique as you.

Warm Your Heart and Your Home

ere’s nothing cozier than curling up with loved ones in front of the replace.

e dancing ames cast a warm glow while the snow is falling outside. is February, if you’ve been enjoying the beauty of a re in your home and you haven’t given a thought to maintenance, it’s time to show your replace a little love. Fireplaces require annual maintenance to continue burning reliably, safely, and e ciently.

e best way to show your replace appreciation for all the hard work it does during the winter is regular annual maintenance. But, it’s more than that: the CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) recommend annual inspections of all chimneys and vents. In wood burners, cleaning and inspection of chimneys is important for protecting your home from a hostile chimney re. is annual service removes creosote build-up—the main fuel for chimney res—from your venting and con rms that your replace and venting are in safe, working order.

Even if your replace burns gas, you should have a certi ed technician perform service yearly. During an annual gas service, our NFI-Certi ed gas technicians will check all the operations and functions of your replace, refresh the burner media, clean the glass, and check for leaks. is annual maintenance will keep your replace running e ciently and e ectively. We also perform service for pellet appliances that is similar in scope.

Is your home missing the cozy,

romantic ambiance of a replace? Are you ready to update your existing replace? If you’re not getting what you need from your hearth appliance, you can bring e ciency and heat to your home with a beautiful new replace, stove, or insert. You can even customize your replace’s design elements to compliment the style of your home. Whether you decide to install a new replace, to repair or your existing replace, or you need seasonal maintenance— our certi ed technicians will have you basking in its glow in no time.

Your hearth appliance should bring you comfort. If it isn’t doing that, it’s time for an upgrade. How you choose to upgrade your replace, stove, or insert depends on what you already have and what you want to change about it. e rst thing you should consider is whether to burn wood or gas in your replace and whether you’re looking for a replace, an insert or a stove. From there, you will select the make and model and the nishing touches that will bring your replace—and room—together.

Wood and gas burning replaces are hearth appliances designed to be installed directly into a wall. ey have clearances built into the unit and t easily into standard framing. ese appliances are great for replacing an outdated, ine cient factory-built replace or for installation where there was never a replace before.

ere are a huge variety of options for size, shape, style, heat output, budget that will t your needs.

Unlike replaces, inserts are designed

to install into an existing rebox. is could be in an old masonry replace or even a factory-built replace. Today’s inserts turn your outdated replace into a high-e ciency appliance. Inserts are available in both wood and gas burning models with a variety of sizes and design options to choose from.

A gas replace or insert is the most convenient way to get the romance of a ickering replace into your home. Gas appliances are also our best sellers—our most common project is converting from wood to gas fuel. One reason gas appliances are popular is that they’re also highly customizable. You can choose from a variety of style options to make your replace or insert your own. In fact, some manufactures boast a near-in nite combination of fronts, refractory panels, log-sets, and burner media.

Gas replaces are available in a variety of styles from modern linear to traditional full-view models. You can even have a portrait replace that is taller than it is wide. If you want a cozy, traditional look, you can have it. Or, if you’re looking for something more contemporary, we o er many di erent models to suit your needs.

Do you feel a sense of nostalgia when you hear crackling of burning wood and smell a wood re? You may be interested in a wood replace or insert. Modern wood burning replaces, stoves, and inserts provide an unbeatable ambiance and they’re also powerful and e cient heaters.

e EPA requires wood burning

replaces, stoves, and inserts to meet strict e ciency standards. All of our wood stoves, replaces, and inserts meet or exceed the current standard. Not only does this mean that a wood burning replace from Mountain Hearth & Patio can burn with up to 80% e ciency, it also means that burning wood in a modern replace releases less particulate matter and smoke than older, outdated wood burning appliances. A modern wood burner is an eco-friendly way to enjoy the romance of a replace. Even better, there’s a tax credit available that o ers up to $2000 back with qualifying wood burning and pellet appliances. e biomass replaces, stoves, and inserts that qualify are the most e cient models available. More and more people are choosing these appliances to save on their electric and gas bills, and get the added bonus of the highest e ciency and a government tax credit!

If you want to show your replace some love with annual service or if you are looking for a new replace, stove, or insert to provide cozy ambiance in your living space, get in touch! Our technicians are certi ed by the NFI and the CSIA and can help you with your replace needs whether you burn wood, gas, or pellets. ArborRx Family Tree Service: Here to Serve You Through Winter’s Snow Season

With cold temperatures and snowy days sure to be in our weather forecasts for some time to come before winter surrenders to springtime, ArborRx Family Tree Service is happy to announce that its snow removal services can now help you plow through this snowy season with ease.

“We have recently purchased some new equipment and can now o er services to combat or prevent winter ice and snow accumulation,” said Bryan Nash who co-owns and operates his business with his wife Jennifer. “Two popular snow removal strategies are deicing (when snow-melt products are applied to the ground a er the snow has fallen) and anti-icing (also referred to as pre-icing, which is when the products are applied before the snowfall).”

Unlike deicing operations that are performed to break the bond of snow and ice and eliminate the buildup on the roads, anti-icing strategies, along with a plan to transition to deicing as needed, are only e ective as a preventative maintenance measure if there is time for equipment to perform such work before a snowfall. is action not only makes subsequent bonded snow and ice easier to remove, but also it can decrease snow-related accidents, improve road service levels a er the snowfall, and also reduce clean-up costs associated with the storm.

Styles on the Horizon for Your Home in 2023

(StatePoint) With travel returning to normal, there’s a renewed interest in seeing the world but you don’t have to go far to bring the beautiful details of faraway destinations into your home’s spaces.

With this in mind, FrogTape brand painter’s tape and celebrity interior designer Taniya Nayak have identi ed the top design trends for 2023, all with an eye to how travel can inspire home décor.

1. Redrock Renewal: Breathe fresh air and renewed energy into your space with “Redrock Renewal,” which incorporates both nature and spirit through earthy tones paired with bold in uences of turquoise, clay and olive. Embrace a clean, light slate layered with simple textures to create a room that is calm, joyful, serene and spiritual. is trend can make a big impact in any space through small details like textured pillows, cozy blankets and clay vases.

2. Bohemian Bazaar: e “Bohemian Bazaar” style is about creating an environment that emboldens everyone in it to live a vibrant, authentic life. To achieve

this look, add a pop of color where it’s least expected, like mixing chairs in di erent shades of fabric around the table or adding bright, bold hues to an otherwise small, dark hallway. Inspired by the people, culture and food of destinations like Morocco, India and Africa, this trend merges the details of handcra ed goods with soulful experiences by encouraging the mixing of patterns and colors.

3. Nordic Nature: “Nordic Nature” encourages a pure, clean and fresh space by bringing elements of the outdoors into

your home. e palette is re ective of a Scandinavian aesthetic, consisting of concrete, wood and crisp white walls to create a space with natural, modern and organic appeal. Look for unique opportunities to make nature-inspired but daring statements that balance the rustic feel with an uncluttered and contemporary vibe.

Apply a subtle concrete layer to your walls for added interest, movement and texture. Before you begin, tape the edges with Nayak’s preferred painter’s tape,

FrogTape, to keep lines sharp and neat.

4. Midtown Modern: It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and excitement of a fast-paced, on-the-go lifestyle, but the “Midtown Modern” movement is about turning your place into a space to pause and savor every moment of each day. Implement saturated hues like black or navy to create an urban, contemporary vibe. Elevate the look with plush fabrics like velvet, wool and satin. Complete the room by adding a special sparkle, with statement pieces that have bright, brass or metal nishes.

“If your hardware is losing its luster, remove it and spray paint it with a new nish for a fresh new look,” recommends Nayak.

Interested in refreshing your home’s interior with the latest trends? Visit https://www.frogtape.com/inspiration/2023-trends for more information and ideas.
