Denver Mayor Michael Hancock was joined by the mayors of Englewood and Wheat Ridge at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce’s State of the City event to discuss issues facing the region -and homelessness was a key topic. The Aug. 3 event at the Denver Botanic Gardens was attended by hundreds of metro-area business professionals. Hancock delivered the keynote address after Englewood Mayor Linda Olson and Wheat Ridge Mayor Bud Starker participated in a panel discussion with Kelly Brough, president and CEO of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. Addressing homelessness was a topic of Hancock’s keynote address, as well as economic recovery. “People predicted that Denver would be one of the first cities to roar in terms of our economy,” Hancock said. “Signs of recovery
