Honoring fallen soldiers Via Facebook, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office had 18 people, including Sheriff Tyler Brown went to Washington D.C. for Police Week and to honor the fallen. May 15 is National
Peace Officer Memorial Day and one our own, Charles H. Wilcox, an Arapahoe County deputy sheriff who died more than a century ago, was added to the memorial. He was killed in the line of duty on Sept. 19, 1899.
