Well, the persuasive speech did not go the best for me. I was extremely nervous and I could not snap out of it; which I'm sure was obvious in the video. On the bright side, though, my catch phrase made it easier to grab the attention of my audience! It also helped that my persuasive speech outline had good flow. My persuasivespeech contained a lot of resourceful information that I hope made people actually think about becoming an organ donor. I made sure to include multiple statistics so that my audience would know how many people are actually awaiting organ and tissue donation. Providing this information in my speech was resourceful to my audience as well as myself because organ and tissue donation is not generally a topic that people think a lot about and therefore they might not know the real importance of organ and tissue donation....show more content...
I have no idea why this speech made me so nervous. Due to the fact that I was extremely nervous, my mind kept freezing up on me, so, therefore, I was referring to my note cards more than I needed to be; which made the speech not flow as smoothly as I would have liked it to. Furthermore, because I was referring to my note cards more, my eye contact was lacking. My eye contact was the one thing in my speech that needed the most improvement. Also, my nonverbal communication was good in the fact that I did not move my hands around a lot, but did have quite a few nervous twitches. The nonverbal that were displayed in this persuasive speech were better than the other two speeches, but I still need to work on a couple of things, such as, having a glass of water next to me so that I do not have to swallow so

B. And you wouldn't be alone in answering yes to the second question. You'd likely be with the millions of unemployed people, people below the poverty line, and people who earn the measly $7.25 federal minimum wage that would like to earn more money.
