This year, with the support of the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC), the second edition of the debate tournament, Argumentes, took place in our school. The initiative saw students from eight school show, in a different way, all that they have been learning. With the motto of Joseph Jou-
bert in mind, “The aim of argument, or of discussion, should not be victory, but progress,” the tournament sought to support the communicative abilities and reasoning in our students. Colegio Alpamayo was represented by a group of outstanding students from grades 8, 9, and 10.
CLASIFICACIÓN COPA MOVISTAR
Segundo lugar Luego de una maratónica campaña donde jugó 12 partidos, nuestra selección de fútbol de la categoría 13 años ocupó el segundo lugar en el campeonato de Adecopa logrando de esta forma su clasificación a la Copa Movistar que se disputa en diciembre. Luego del empate a un gol en el tiempo regular, los penales le dieron la victoria al colegio Cambridge.
