THE ASSOCIATION AMSUS was established in 1891 and incorporated by an Act of Congress in 1903. The Constituent Services of the Association include the Medical Departments of the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Homeland Security. It is the “Society of Federal Health Professionals,” and as such contributes to the improvement of all phases of the federal health services.

Continuing Education Accreditations Continuing Education Information This continuing education activity is provided through collaboration between the AMSUS and Professional Education Services Group (PESG). This activity provides continuing education credit for physicians, family physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, dentists, physician assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, social workers, health care executives, psychologists, speech language professionals, medical administrators, and health education specialists, as well as a general participation certificate for other attendees.
