The fastest way to interrupt anxiety is through your breathing Deep, slow breathing activates the parasympatheticnervoussystem, yourbody’snatural “calm down” response Try box breathing: inhale for four counts, hold for four, exhale for four, and hold again. This rhythm tells your brain you’re safe, slowing your heart rate and easing tension in minutes.

2.ActivateYourVagusNerve

The vagus nerve is your body’s built-in anxiety switch. It connects your brain to key organs like the heartandgutandhelpsregulatemoodandstress. You can stimulate it by humming, singing, laughing, or even yawning all of which trigger vibrations that calm the nervous system. HEALING HUMANITY

The Documentary Aiming to Rewrite the Rules of Nutrition

In an era when chronic disease, obesity, diabetes, autoimmunedisorders, mentalhealthchallenges, and cancer continue to burden millions, a new documentaryseeksnotonlytoexposetherootsofour dietary crisis but to propose a bold remedy Healing Humanity: The Power of a Proper Human Diet promises to be more than another health film It is a movement, an appeal, and an experiment in storytellingwithstakes

Launched by health advocate and filmmaker Kerry Mann Jr., HealingHumanity arguesthatwhatweeat is not merely fuel, but the foundation of healing or disease The project is born from both personal transformation and public frustration, combining first-hand testimony, expert voices, and cinema to challengeprevailingnutritionalparadigms

BehindtheLens:KerryMannJr.andHisTeam

Mann is a small-town theater owner and content creator(behindtheYouTubechannelHomesteadHow) whosehealthrevivalisthefilm’semotionalcore He wrestledwithseverehealthconditions:heartfailure, arthritis,obesity,anddepressivesymptomsforyears

Traditional medicine provided limited relief It was only when he adopted what he terms a “ proper human diet,” a heavily animal-based that he says he began to reverse these conditions and lose over 100 pounds.

Hedescribesthattransformationasnothingshortofa rebirth, and it propelled him into activism: if a diet change could rescue his life, perhaps it could rescue manymore.

Mann has not shied from controversy He speaks candidly about how he, at first, wasted energy

attempting to persuade critics. Over time, as one profile puts it, he “learned that not everyone will agree with your message … what matters is staying truetoyourmissionandhelpingthosewhoareready tolisten”

KeyCollaborators&TheirStories

Mann is joined in production by Adam Lacy, a photographer and fellow advocate who has his own health story He survived a traumatic brain injury and underwent six years of recovery Lacy brings visualcraftandtestimonytothefilm

AnotherpivotalfigureisLynnDivoky, knownasthe “MidlifeCarnivore.”Aftermorethanthreedecadesof chronic symptoms and an uncertain diagnosis, Lynn embarked on the diet path and claims dramatic recoveryinenergy, weight, andsymptomrelief

These individual stories anchor Healing Humanity in humanexperience Theyarerealpeopleconfronting disease, trying something outside the norm, and claiming(ordisputing)results

On the scientific side, Healing Humanity enlists numerous medical professionals and researchers to lendweighttoitsclaims Thelineupincludesfamily physicians, neurologists, endocrinologists, psychiatrists, and others Among the film’s featured experts are Dr. Ken Berry, Dr. Georgia Ede, Dr. Shawn Baker, Dr. Robert Kiltz, and Professor ThomasSeyfried

These voices produce a tapestry of clinical perspectives, some more controversial than others, arguingthatreturningtowhole, minimallyprocessed foods (often heavy on animal products) can drive profoundmetabolicandinflammatorychanges

One of the film’s central goals is to shine a light on whatManncallsthefoodindustry’s“enslavement”of health through marketing, subsidies, and processed formulations He argues that processed foods, sugar, chemical residues (eg glyphosate), and deceptive packaging techniques (cartoons to attract children) arepartofasystemdesignedtounderminemetabolic health

The documentary contends that this “system” must be questioned as much as individual dietary choices According to Mann, public awareness and collective pressure may be as important as individual transformation.

Atitsheart,HealingHumanityisanarrativeofhope

Thefilmtrackstransformationstoriesofpeoplewho have reversed chronic disease, regained physical vitality, mental clarity, or emotional balance after shiftingdiets, provingthatchangeispossible, notjust aspirational.

The filmmakers want these stories to spark broader conversation:toencourageviewerstotestchanges,to questionassumptions, andtopursuemetabolichealth ratherthansymptommanagement.

TheBiggerPicture

In many ways, Healing Humanity taps into a rising culturalmoment.Thepublicisincreasinglyskeptical of processed food, pharmaceutical dependence, and one-size-fits-all nutritional dogmas. The film’s aesthetic and editorial approach seeks to ride that momentum, melding personal testimonials with molecular biology and metabolic narrative with cinematicurgency.

If successful, Healing Humanity could shift conversations notonlyaboutwhatdietis“good,”but who decides nutritional norms, and how health agencies, foodsystems, andindividualsmightrealign towardancestralormetabolic-firstframeworks Mannhimselfframesthefilmnotasadietpitch, but a moral and energetic imperative: “We are not chasingdietfads weareunveilingthetruthbehind nutritionandaproperhumandiet We’reinspiringa messageofhope”

The journey is far from finished The film is still in production, still fundraising (via GoFundMe and otheravenues),andbuildingcommunity

It’s safe to say that the success of Healing Humanity won’t be measured merely in views, but in lives changed, institutions awakened, and whether the movement can nudge food culture toward transparency, accountability, andperhaps, healing

SUCCESS STORY

MEET DIANE LADD, LICSW

Diane Ladd was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2016, shortly after earning her Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College. By 2022, her MS symptoms had worsened, leading her to close her counseling practice due to debilitating fatigue and other health issues. Diane prayed for healing. That’s when she discovered carnivore content on YouTube. At first, she thought, “Really, God?! Just meat?!” But the message stuck. On March 5, 2024, Diane gave carnivore30days,andshe’sneverlookedback.Here’s herstory:

In2016,IwasdiagnosedwithMultipleSclerosis.MS is a chronic, progressive disease affecting the brain and spinal cord. The doctors told me that my body wasmistakenlyattackingitself.Morespecifically,it was attacking the myelin sheathing in my own brain. When the plastic frays, electricity (or, in this case, information) is unable to flow between neurons, this fraying is called demyelination Demyelination causes the neuron to die It’s confirmed by identifying lesions on an MRI scan andleadstopermanentdisability

One day, 14 months ago, I woke up and challenged myself to eat a strict carnivore diet for 30 days. At the time, I thought that if I ate beef, butter, bacon, andeggsforonly30days,therewouldn’tbeenough time for scurvy, gout, heart attack, or death. But never, in my wildest dreams, did I imagine that eating fatty meat would be the answer to my prayer!

HowtoMakeaButterBoard

The trickiest part about making a butter board is makingsurethebutterconsistencyisright.Todothis, it’s important to plan ahead and soften refrigeratortempbutteratroomtemperatureforabout15minutes before spreading Don’t use the microwave even if you’re pressed for time because it will affect the texture

Once the butter is softened, use a small knife or spoontospreadthebutterasflataspossibleontoa woodencuttingboardorflatplatter, makingsmall swirlswheretoppingscancollect.

Whether you keep it traditional with herbs and bread or go all-in with a carnivore twist, the concept proves that sometimes the simplest foods sharedwithfriendscanbringthemostjoy.
