The 1967 graduating classes of Olyphant High School and St. Patrick’s High School of Olyphant, will hold a reunion meeting, open to all classmates, on Feb. 21, at the Italian-American Club, Burke Bypass and E. A Mayfield Crime Watch meeting will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 6 p.m. (a new time) in the Mayfield Borough Building on Penn Avenue. Detective Vince Butkiewicz will be bringing along his partner “Riggs” for a demonstration. Riggs, a Labrador retriever, is the Lackawanna County drug dog who has recently helped the Drug Task Force on many of its successes.

Blood Drive

Valley Blood Council of the American Red Cross will host a blood drive on Thursday, Feb. 23, noon to 5 p.m. at WozniakPavloski Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 7963, 284 Main St. in Eynon. Christ the King Parish is also a sponsor. Donors must be at least 17 years old and weigh 110 pounds. This drive is in memory of all Veterans of Foreign Wars.

The First United Methodist Church of Carbondale, 20 N.
