About National Health Center Week: National Health Center Week (NHCW) is an annual celebration of the mission and achievements of America’s community health centers (CHC) over the past five decades. It highlights the unwavering dedication of CHC staff, board members, and supporters committed to providing care to all, regardless of income or insurance status.

4th Community Fun & Wellness Festival at the Dr. Richard Shower’s Recreation Center
Join us for the 4th annual Community Fun & Wellness Festival. This event, cohosted by Central North Alabama Health Services, Inc., Thrive Alabama, and HAPPI Health, aims to promote community health. We invite local non-profits to join us, share resources, and celebrate National Health Center Week. Activities include sports physicals, snow cones, a petting zoo, a bouncy house, vendor giveaways, and school supply giveaways.
