De 1 a 13 de Março, decorreu em Bursa, Turquia, o Intercâmbio internacional “Catch the Eternal Moment”. Este intercâmbio contou com a presença de 6 jovens montijenses: Ana Filipa Azevedo, Dumitru Tîra, Valter Alexandre Sousa, Ricardo Nuno da Silva e Francisco Manuel Melo.
From 1st to 13th March, occurred in Bursa, Turkey, the Youth Exchange “Catch the Eternal Moment”. This project had the participation of 6 youngsters of Montijo: Ana Filipa Azevedo, Dumitru Tîra, Valter Alexandre Sousa, Ricardo Nuno da Silva and Francisco Manuel Melo.
Este projecto teve como objectivo promover a fotografia como instrumento de ligação e exploração entre os jovens e o quotidiano vivido em várias partes da cidade de Bursa. No último dia do Intercâmbio os jovens participantes realizaram uma exposição onde mostraram as suas fotografias.
This project has as main objective to promote photography as a connection and exploration instrument between youngsters and the daily life in several parts of Bursa. In the last day of the exchange the participants prepared an exhibition to show their own photos.

“O intercâmbio fotográfico realizado no mês passado na Cidade de Bursa, Turquia, foi uma experiência única a todos os níveis. Primeiro, a nível fotográfico foi excelente, oportunidades incríveis, ganhei bastante confiança a pedir as pessoas para as fotografar (geralmente eram pessoas na rua), aprendi várias técnicas novas com alguns dos elementos participantes. Adorei a cultura turca, a maneira deles de ver a vida, algumas semelhanças com povo português (fanatismo em relação ao futebol), a comida incrível e o chá. Conheci pessoas incríveis, que adorava voltar a ver no futuro próximo. Foi incrivelmente brutal, sou capaz de voltar lá um dia destes ou mesmo viver um ano ou dois :)” – Dumitru Tîra.
“The photographic Exchange was made in the last month in Bursa, Turkey, was a unique experience at all levels. First, at photographic level, was excellent, amazing opportunities, I gain self-confidence by asking people to let me photograph them (in general were people in the streets), I learn lots of new techniques with some participants. I loved the Turkish culture, their way of living, there are some similarities with the Portuguese people (football fanatics), the food is amazing and also the tea. I knew amazing people, that I would love to meet again in a near future. I might go live there for 1 year or 2 :)” – Dumitru Tîra.
