Aeroméxico and Delta became the first SkyTeam members to utilize new technology that allows passengers to book seats for their entire journey when flying on an itinerary with the two airlines. In the future, more SkyTeam members will allow you to select your seat, purchase a preferred seat or even see seat map availability in real-time. Perfect for when you’re flying with two SkyTeam airlines and want to make sure you secure your favorite seat in advance.
Digital Airport Maps Never get lost in an unfamiliar airport again with our new navigation tool, available on the free SkyTeam app. Enhance your airport experience or make the most of your layover by using it to plan time in duty-free, find your gate or simply unwind in one of the 600+ lounges available to Elite Plus, First and Business Class customers. Airport maps are being rolled out in phases and they’re currently available at 14 airports: Amsterdam, Istanbul, Sydney, London Heathrow, Taipei, Geneva, Rome, Helsinki, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Miami, Minneapolis and Edmonton. Eventually, this time-saving technology will cover the alliance’s 39 main hubs, including all airports with SkyTeam lounges. Find it on the free SkyTeam app, available on Android and iOS.
SkyTeam Rebooking Flight delayed, canceled or diverted? The next time you find yourself affected by travel disruption, simply head to a SkyTeam member airline’s ticket or transfer desk, and the agent will reroute you onto the next available SkyTeam flight using SkyTeam Rebooking – easy! The service is currently available at 43 airports worldwide with more being added each month. With 20 airlines in the SkyTeam alliance, you’ll be on your way in no time.
