Clone TV: While I was doing some research on you I noticed that Schreiber, your last name, is the German word for Writer. Is this just a fun coincidence or do you think you were meant to be a writer?
Just a coincidence, but it is kind of funny, isn't it? Clone TV: And about Star Wars, have you always been a fan? What memories do you have of your first contact with the Star Wars universe?
Well, I'm 42, which is pretty old, so I saw the first Star Wars movie in 1977 when I was seven years old. I remember arriving late to the theater with my parents and entering to see Vader towering in a doorway filled with blaster smoke. I was terrified and enthralled at the same time.
Clone TV: Death Troopers was your first book for Star Wars. How did the opportunity to write it appeared?
I had written several horror novels for Random House/Del Rey Books, who also publish the Star Wars Expanded Universe novels. There was some in-house discussion about
