To comply with IGEM/UP/11 Edition 3, it is a requirement for any Gas Solenoid Valve installed into a teaching environment to incorporate pressure proving to ensure the closure of all downstream outlets prior to restoration of the gas supply.

Installations are always carried out by Flamefast CSCS certificated engineers, good planning is a prerequisite for a trouble-free workshop installation. We remain on-site throughout the installation and final commissioning, to ensure all statutory requirements covering HSG258 and BS4163:2014 are met, and other HSE advisory requirements to machinery planning such as Building Bulletin 81 & PUWER 98. Flamefast also ensure that the Electrical Installation and Testing to current BS7671 regulations are met.
