Pinnacle Furniture understand the importance of tailoring projects to meet the requirements of children who attend SEND schools.
Andrew is an experienced and client-focused Lead Project Consultant who has worked in the industry for 15 years. He has extensive experience in SEN projects with the DfE and other frameworks.
Within our FFE Consultancy we are constantly evaluating the challenges faced by SENDspecific needs.
We can support a SEND project with our advanced in-house visualisation capabilities that incorporate walkthroughs and static CGIs, as well as providing accurate costings at the initial project stages.

By integrating Enscape into our design workflow we have the ability to immerse ourselves into a realistic 3D view of our designs. Evaluating FFE decisions in real time provides our Designers with the tools to think outside the box and enhance proposals.

Partner Charity
We are delighted to announce our new charity partnership is Venkat Trust.
Venkat Trust is a charity that supports education and school facilities for children in the fishing village of Kovalam, near Chennai in India. The charity, founded by Sylvia Holder in 2004, has funded thousands of pupils in Primary and Higher Secondary schools and students who wish to continue their education at university or vocational training.

Case Study: Abingdon SchoolBeech Court
Abingdon School required a design and fit-out for their new 3 storey building. The space included a library and Sixth Form area.
We worked collaboratively with all of the key stakeholders involved in the project to create a space that bridged the gap between secondary and further education. We divided the Sixth Form Centre into several zones and created a modern library with a range of innovative products such as curved library units, individual study booths and silent study rooms.

Case Study: Magdalen College School
Magdalen College School approached Pinnacle to design and furnish their newly built Sixth Form Centre.
The project included a large social space, a cafe and study rooms. The study space had to accommodate dining, socialising and working whilst the study rooms needed to promote alternative learning methods. We created workable solutions in each area using a variety of furniture and fittings. The colour palette from the crest can be seen running throughout each area creating design symmetry.

Case Study: Wellington College
Wellington College appointed Pinnacle to refurbish their Physics department into a modern and flexible learning space.
The project was split between the old and new building and included a variety of rooms such as prep rooms and science laboratories. During the design process we liaised with the Head of Physics and the Facilities team to finalise specifications and colour schemes. For the science laboratories, we created a sample pedestal to sign off before production and ensured that technicalities and safety were addressed during the design stages.

Case Study: North Bridge House School
The Cognita Schools Group required expert interior design services and furniture after their acquisition of North Bridge House.
Pinnacle Furniture are on the Cognita Schools National Framework and were contracted to design, supply and install all furniture for the new NBH Canonbury which was to be a flagship Cognita school and a benchmark for future projects. Beautiful materials such as velvet were used in the sixth form common room, to provide luxurious touches while still being robust enough to stand up to everyday use.

Case Study: Brighton College
Pinnacle worked with McLaren Construction and architectural firm OMA to deliver a bespoke, high-spec project for Brighton College.
Brighton College required premium, practical designs and fitted furniture for 18 university standard science laboratories, prep rooms and kitchenette as well as other storage facilities for their new School of Science and Sport. From the brief, we worked towards achieving the best possible balance of the Architect’s vision and practicality of the School. In the science laboratories, we installed bespoke black 20mm SGL worktops, black fume cupboards, ceramic sinks and student and teacher islands.

Case Study: Richmond Upon Thames College
Working in collaboration with ISG and Atkins to supply creative and adaptable furniture to suit the College’s vision for their brand-new building.
The furniture had to be flexible and durable for long term educational use and the design scheme needed to compliment the College’s colours. The overall project needed to be completed to a tight schedule, so it was essential all our furniture samples were reviewed and signed off by the client within the time frame. A range of products were chosen including soft furnished sofas and modular systems, bright banquette dining tables and benches. We also supplied bespoke reception units, DT workbenches, food tech appliances and storage.

Case Study: Linton Park
Linton Park School wanted to refurbish a large area of the Primary phase building to create a self-directed learning space.
The space included a brainstorming room, learning zones, collaboration points and a wet area for Arts and Science. Throughout the space, we fitted glass partitioning with manifestation and graphics along the walls to distinguish each area. Our overall design used bright colours and a mix of upholstered seating and practical classroom furniture.

Case Study: WestVale Park Primary Academy
Pinnacle were asked to provide the FFE consultancy and the furniture for this new build Primary School and Nursery in Horley, Gatwick.
Westvale Park Primary Academy, part of Aurora Academies Trust, is a new build school developed for residents of the new Westvale Park Estate in Horley, West Sussex. As part of the brief, the client wanted the school to have a natural look and feel, they also wanted us to create a space that was perfect for supporting the development of the children in the school.
