CHICKEN POX
We would like to make you aware that a case of Chicken Pox has been reported in Year 2.
The current UKHSA Chicken Pox guidance recommends that confirmed and suspected cases are to be excluded from School until 5 days after the rash appears and all blisters have crusted over.
Please monitor your child for symptoms and refer to the NHS website, linked here for updated information.
If you have any queries or would like to report a case, please do not hesitate to contact Ms Laura Lynch, School Nurse, directly via email: llynch@cliftonhigh.co.uk
TICKS
As we approach the warmer weather, ticks are becoming more prevalent. It is important that the children wear trousers/leggings and long sleeved tops for outdoor activities/adventure especially where they may be moving through long grass.
We also suggest check themselves when they return home from outdoor activities. Click here for information from the NHS.
