Introduction and overview Top tips for excursion planning: 1) Book early Many of the optional excursions or extra options book up quickly over the busy summer period, so make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment. 2) Consider the travelling time Some of the excursions are a significant distance away from Bristol. Consider how tired you and your group may be, especially if you’re thinking of two long excursions in a row. We’ve included the travelling times to help you keep track. 3) Pick the best bits This brochure is filled with exciting activities but there won’t be time to do everything. Pick the most important bits for you and your group and plan around those to avoid missing out.

Excursions Plan The plan for excursions each week fits a repeating pattern: Thursday afternoons Thursday afternoons will see you taking part in our included half-day excursions (to Bath and Cardiff for those on our two-week programme). Saturdays Included excursions take place all day on a Saturday (to London and Oxford for those on our two-week programme). Sundays Sundays are up to you! We include a ‘Discover Bristol’ as one of your 2 Sunday excursions, but otherwise the day is free to use as you choose. Take a look through the different options included in our brochure and see what you might be interested in. Please note that itineraries in this brochure are very approximate and subject to change. Prices are available separately unless the activity or excursion is marked as ‘free’ or ‘included’. 4 Optional Excursions A5.indd 4
