SUNDAY, AUGUST 10TH SUNDAY, AUGUST 10TH
PNM groups!! Woohoo!!
Companion App
Pi Chi Land is going to be the greatest few days of your life, so get excited! We have so many fun things planned to help you all learn how to be the best recruitment counselor you can be, while bonding with 150 other Panhellenic women! The point of this is to get to know each other! While at Pi Chi Land, you are NOT under any circumstances permitted to leave the hotel without permission. Things happen, and you may need to run out for something and we understand that, but if you really need to run out you must contact HPX Ella before doing so
No matter where you are from the morning of August 8th until you rejoin your chapter on August 19th, your responsibility is to be the best Pi Chi you can be! Like everything in life, the more you put into it, the more you will get out of it, and it could not be more true than when serving as a Pi Chi. Challenge yourself to make new friends and stay loyal to your fellow Pi Chis. You were all chosen for a reason. Be as proud to be a Pi Chi as we are proud of you.
On Sunday, August 10th, you will be calling each of your PNMs to tell them how excited you are that they are participating in recruitment and to give them some information about orientation. The script you will read to them or message you will leave is as follows:
“Hi !
My name is Pi Chi and I’m your Pi Chi for Panhellenic Recruitment! I am so excited that you have chosen to participate in Panhellenic Recruitment. Panhellenic Life at Clemson is such an amazing experience. I’m calling to introduce myself, see if there are any questions I can answer for you, and to tell you a little bit about recruitment here at Clemson this year. How are you doing?
Points to Hit:
They will watch round 1 videos in LJC with you and everyone participating in recruitment on Wednesday, August 13th.
They will make their votes for the first time based on the chapter videos August 13th with you
What are their main concerns or questions at this time?
*Answer questions and tell them to save your phone number*
I hope you are as excited for this week as I am. I cannot wait to guide you through recruitment!”
NOTE: If you do not know the answer to a question, have her email clemsonpanhellrecruitment@gmail.com.
Watching Round 1 Videos with PNM’s:
On Wednesday, August 13th we will meet together in LJC to watch all of the Chapter Round 1 videos. PNMs will vote with you (their Pi Chi) after watching the videos.

Happy move in! i Hope everything is going smoothly I know move in can be hectic!! So excited to see you all so soon!! I wanted to send a reminder of our schedule for tomorrow!! We all meet in Little John Coliseum at pm: orientation begins at pm: watching round 1 videos and submitting rankings pm: PNM BBQ in Tiger Park Menu is southern barbecue and there are peanut/tree nut and gluten free options! The food will be buffet style food, so we cannot guarantee no cross contamination, so if you are concerned try and make the best decision for yourself and your allergy! Dress casual! I'II be wearing comfy athletic clothes so feel free to follow that! Again seriously no pressure what you look like you will only be with PNMs and Pi Chis! And just as a reminder, I am here for you all! Let me know if you need anything before tomorrow
HI GROUP !!! ♀
♀ My name is Pi Chi and i’m your Pi Chi for Recruitment! I am so excited that you have chosen to participate in Panhellenic Recruitment. Panhellenic life at Clemson is such an amazing experience!!! I will be calling you guys to introduce myself, see if there are any questions I can answer for you, and tell you a bit about recruitment here at Clemson this year. Let’s all start out by saying our names, sending a picture of ourselves, and your instagrams so you can all follow eachother!!

I am SOOO EXCITED to meet all of you so soon! I have a long message here so bear with me, but make sure to add my contact cause anytime from now on you guys can text or call me with any questions you guys have! I am here for YOU GUYS! When you move in Tuesday and there will be a bunch of pi chi’s all around campus helping. Then on we have convocation at Littlejohn Coliseum and will all get to
finally meet each other
We will watch round 1 videos from each sorority inside the stadium- I will have your bags with your day 1 t-shirts and name tags, I will also be holding a sign (i will send bellow) that says GROUP on it. After convocation I will help you guys rank the 13 chapters. You will not necessarily be “dropping” chapters but you will be indicating your preferences on where you want to go Philanthropy day 1. Basically, you will rank 10 chapters as #1 (order won’t matter) and then the rest will be ranked as #2, #3, and #4 (order will matter). The #1 are your favorites. But DON’T worry I will be there to help you with the process! After we will walk over to a BBQQQQQ that is at Tiger Park and all eat dinner together and get to know eachother more.
Okay just a few more important things/tips:
⁃ Don’t forget I will be calling you guys later today! I promise just like a minute or two so pleaseee answer!!
-If you have not already DOWNLOAD the PNM Companion App - use the same email that you used to register for recruitment You will use this app to vote after each round of recruitment PLEASE try to set it up before Wednesday because it will make voting go so much faster.
It’s also a good idea to research a little about each sorority at Clemson (look at insta, website, socials) to learn a little more about them before we watch the videos. This will make the voting easier for you guys.
⁃ If you have any conflicts with the times for recruitment (ex: rally cats or prior commitments) please let me know and I will send you the conflict form. This form is DUE WEDNESDAY.
⁃ Wear whatever you feel comfortable in for Wednesday - we will be just with other PNMs and pi chis! I will be wearing athletic comfy clothes.
⁃ PLEASE save my number if you haven’t already. I WILL BE YOUR GO TO GIRL through this process! If you ever have questions, concerns, or just want to talk about anything I am here!! I know that was a lot so please make sure you read through this entire text and ask me any questions you have when I call you laterrr!! Can’t wait to see you guys so soon!!! WE ARE GONNA HAVE THE BEST GROUP EVER !!

Here's a pic of me with our sign so you can find me!!! - i will send a picture of the section i'm in at the stadium once i get there.

Good morninggggg gorgeous perfect ladies of group !! Happy happy Philanthropy day 1! Schedule are about to be posted around , text me in the group chat what time you will be at little john right when you see them remember i'm on campus right now for you!! If you don't have a full schedule of 10, that's totally ok!! That is so common during recruitment- the majority of people every year do not get 10 back and I just want everyone to know that. This round is an opportunity to learn about chapters philanthropy and also to tell them about your own community service and involvement in high school. After you check in I'II help you find your first party! I know you guys are going to kill it at every chapter.
LETS HAVE A DAY!!!
Hiii! You guys did great today!!. It makes me so happy to hear you all talk about the chapters you are loving. Tomorrow will be pretty similar Reminders: - wear the same outfit: pink shirt and a nice pair of shorts or a skirt - bring water!! double check your schedules, text me, and show up atleast 30 min before your first party you will all meet with me after your last party. we can chat about how you're feeling then submit rankings for Sisterhood - keep on trusting in yourselves and the process!! You are all so beautiful inside and out and I have loved getting to know all of you better. Let's all kill it again tomorrow!!! WOOOOH00O!!! xoxo pi chi

Heyyyyy!!! You all did amazing today! Schedules will be coming out a little before tomorrow, but I would recommend getting up closer to so you have time to get ready! If you need anything at all, call me!! Call me tonight if you are stressed. Call me tomorrow if you see your schedule and need to talk it out! I will try and make it to as many of you in person as possible!! A few reminders:
-try to limit saying how many chapters you get back!!! It is completely normal to not get back a max of 6 but we don't want to compare - everyone is on their own journey with this process
-If you see that chapters you are unsure about end up being on your schedule tomorrow I want to encourage you to try going to them and keeping an open mind. You will talk to different girls and that can help you see different sides of the chapters
If you see that chapters you are unsure about end up being on your schedule tomorrow I want to encourage you to try going to them and keeping an open mind. You will talk to different girls and that can help you see different sides of the chapters - tomorrow chapters will talk about their events and also what makes there sisterhood special. you guys can talk about your home friends and what traits you look for in a sister!! it is going to be a great way to get to know chapters more and you guys are going to have an amazing time!! The outfit is a sundress or romper with nice sandals or wedges You guys are AMAZING :) I know days are long but i am having the best time with you all Text me in the ge in the morning what time you'll be there tomorrow when you see the schedule I love you all and will see you tomorrow!
FIRST DAY OF SISTERHOOD DONE!!! And once again you guys did AMAZE! I couldn't be more proud of you guys and the way you handle today with such a positive attitude! I truly am so lucky to have all of you amazing, wonderful ladies in group ! You are awesome and have so much to offer we are going to

Happy pref day!! We are almost there, today is the last day before BID DAYYYY!! Schedules are going to come out 11-11:30! I will be in little john to talk so come in and chat if you need! When you get your schedules call me This text will have a lot of info but please read it - it is all important for today. Just some reminders: I can talk to you about your selections before and after your first party but after your second party - that is a limited contact/ silent period for pms and their pi chis so basically you can confirm with me you are good to go, and then immediately go vote to sign the MRABA (also limit conversations with other pms around you about your selections!!!) ⁃ As an overview: if you put two chapters down and sign the MRABA you are bound to the bid you receive for a full year (you cannot rush until next fall) but if you only list one chapter and single intentional preference you are able to COB in the spring IF you do NOT receive a bid. ⁃ After your last party I can't see you until bid day!! Then you'll find out everything you want to know about me YAYYY! ⁃ Wear a dress with heels or wedges today! you guys are going to look absolutely beautifullll ♀ ⁃ You are all so amazing and these chapters can't wait to see you back!! PI CHI ROLE Clemson®
A Recruitment Counselor, better known as a Pi Chi, is a member of the Panhellenic community who has chosen to disassociate from her own chapter to help unbiasedly lead a group of PNMs through the primary recruitment process. She is a PNMs go-to girl for all things recruitment. Her job is to be there for PNMs day and night; call/text whenever needed. In addition to recruitment questions, PNMs can also talk to their Pi Chi about anything school related.

EXPECTATIONS
OVERALL
15 minutes early is on time.
The amount of time the last Pi Chi to arrive late = time added to arrival time the next morning (i.e. If Pi Chi Alex shows up 10 minutes late = Everyone is to arrive 20 minutes early the next morning: 10 minutes late + 10 minutes early).
Dress according to the dress code for each day - shorts and tennis shoes allowed everyday, unless noted otherwise. Bring your laptop, charger, and phone to all days of recruitment (including trainings).
Phones must be on you and readily available at all times. Stay in LJC unless given permission by exec or FSL staff
Nightly PX meetings will be held in the Coliseum Club after every PNM has left LJC
After each round you are expected to reach out to your PNM’s either in person or virtually to discuss their rounds and parties. For Round 1 voting, you are required to meet as a group to discuss the voting process and vote with each PNM individually. This will be done on August 14th. You should be with them every time they vote for each round and be aware of their selections.

EXPECTATIONS
KEEPING IT HUSH!
Pi Chis should not be seen out in letter shirts, with large groups of sorority women, or talking about ANY parts of the recruitment process with any woman. Pi Chis may be seen with other Pi Chis and can meet with any PNMs during the recruitment week. If a Pi Chi is reported for discussing any element of recruitment she will have an infraction placed against her and she will be dismissed as a Pi Chi and pay for, but not limited to, all her Pi Chi merchandise, hotel room, and provided meals.
You should NEVER discuss a PNM’s schedule or preferences with chapter members, and chapter members should not know which PNM’s are in your group. The recruitment process is strictly confidential and as a Pi Chi it is your job to make sure it stays that way so your PNM’s can have the most unbiased and authentic experience.
Although you may be living with other sorority women, you may not talk about recruitment events or PNMs under any circumstances. If the recruitment team gets word of you doing so, you will be immediately removed from being a Pi Chi you will be immediately removed from being a Pi Chi and will reimburse Panhellenic for all, but not limited to, your Pi Chi merchandise and Pi Chi amenities.
Even if your friends ask you about a PNM, it is your responsibility as a Pi Chi to keep the confidentiality of all PNMs. If this happens you should tell the chapter member that you cannot answer her/his question or respond to her/his comment, and she/he should not be asking you those types of questions/making those comments.

EXPECTATIONS
THINGS WE KNOW YOU KNOW & FOLLOW AND
THAT’S WHY YOU WERE PICKED TO BE A PI CHI :)
Each potential new member should be given the same amount of attention and respect. This applies to PNMs in your group as well as PNMs in other groups. Do NOT force your group to play guessing games. If your group wants to guess your affiliation, be cautious. Discourage any conversation or actions that cause them to speculate. Remember, this week is not about you. It is important to make a conscious effort to get to know each PNM in your group. Let them know that they can talk to you about anything.
As a Pi Chi, you are expected to promote Panhellenic as a whole by having the same attitude towards each sorority. NEVER share any even remotely negative opinions about any chapter with a potential new member. This includes your own opinions as well as things you may have heard. Under no circumstances are you to discuss a chapters “stereotype” or “reputation” or predict what sorority a potential new member will end up in. Doing so will end up in your termination as a Pi Chi.
Pi Chis should NEVER influence the decision of a PNM. You will be immediately dismissed from Pi Chi duties if you are caught telling a potential new member how to list preferences, whether or not your own organization is the one she is considering, or committing any other action along these lines. You are expected to remain silent when asked opinions about different organizations. These women take every single thing you say to heart, so NEVER tell a PNM your opinion of a chapter, no matter how many times she asks. Again, these rules will be strictly enforced and breaking disassociation will not be taken lightly

Here are some & how to deal with it!

Indecisive Potential New Members
Encourage them to think about what they want in a sorority and remember this as they go to each party. Which chapter reflects their values?
Remind them that it is their own decision, not to be influenced by other people (i e best friend, mother, sister, etc).
Listen to them and use the tactic of repeating to them what they just told you “so what I hear you saying is” PNMs Withdrawing
Talk to her to make sure that she is certain in her decision
Primary Recruitment is overwhelming for some women, if you think she is a good candidate for a Panhellenic woman, encourage her to participate in COB Explain this option to her, ask an exec member for help if you need it.
Make sure that she understands that withdrawing completely takes her out of Primary Recruitment, she cannot come back tomorrow.
If you have discussed everything with her and she still wishes to withdraw, don’t continue to push allow her to withdraw.
Releasing PNMs
You will be notified before schedules are released if any of your women were completely released from the recruitment process. Expect this phone call to come from Ellie Cahill.
Once you have met with the PNM to tell her the news, continue to check on her at least once more that day (maybe more depending on how she reacted to the news). Let Ellie Cahill know if you think the PNM’s response/reaction warrants other follow up.
Continue to invite her to group activities that week and keep her in the group message unless she wants to be taken out.
Tell her about other exciting activities going on at Clemson and encourage her to keep relationships up with the other girls in her Pi Chi group even if she has chosen to leave the recruitment process. The PNM book contains important information on available activ to branch out. Reach out to Exec if you need help with this.

Here are some & how to deal with it!

In any and all scenarios:
Be flexible, as we may have to restructure things. Keep your group calm, and remind them that we will get information to them as quickly as possible.
Be a rock for your PNM’s, things will be stressful but seeing you handle this gracefully will only encourage them more.
Be a rock for your fellow Pi Chis, don’t hesitate to ask your Pi Chis for advice or words of encouragement.
Come to Exec if you need anything at all, we are here to support you all to do the best job you possibly can.
Finally, instructions from higher authorities should always be your main concern, (police, firemen, administrators, etc).
Remember to ask helpful open ended questions
How did that round make you feel?
What stood out to you in the round?
How did your conversation go?
Could you see yourself fitting in with the women? Why?
What did you or did you not connect on?

The Membership Recruitment Acceptance Binding Agreement (M

A)
Please read this document carefully. You should not sign this binding agreement unless you understand it. Check one of the following options:
I want to withdraw from recruitment at this time.
This means I will not join a sorority now, but I am eligible for future opportunities such as continuous open bidding
I will sign this agreement at this time.
Continue completing this form
By signing this agreement, I understand and agree to the following terms:
I am willing to accept an invitation to membership from any sorority that I list on this agreement. I will list the sorority(ies) in my order of preference for receiving a bid.
I do not have to rank all the sororities that are my remaining choices if I am certain I will not accept a bid from them and do not see myself as a member of that sorority
I understand that should I choose to limit my choices, I might not receive a bid through this recruitment process
After submitting this form:
I cannot change my ranking I also cannot add or delete any sorority(ies)
If I do not receive a bid from any sorority(ies) I have listed, I understand that I am eligible to join any sorority through COB if there is an opportunity. I also understand that not all sororities will recruit through COB. If I do receive a bid from a sorority I have listed, and I choose to not accept that bid, I understand that I am not eligible to join any other sorority on this campus until the start of the next primary recruitment period
NPC Unanimous Agreement III The Panhellenic Compact
8 If through the primary membership recruitment process, a potential new member accepts a bid and then has her pledge broken by an NPC sorority or breaks her pledge, then she is ineligible to be pledged to another NPC sorority on the same campus until the beginning of the next year's primary membership recruitment period
List in rank order sorority(ies) whose preference event I attended and where I am willing to join 1st:
2nd (if applicable):
By signing this membership recruitment acceptance binding agreement, I agree to accept a bid from any of the sororities I rank above. I also agree that I will be bound to that bid until the beginning of the next primary recruitment period on this campus (Note: Clicking submit on an electronic version of the MRABA denotes a signature and agreeent to the terms listed )
Signature Date
The membership recruitment acceptance binding agreement must be filed with the College Panhellenic within one (1) business day of the above date
EXPLANATION OF THE MRABA
The Membership Recruitment Acceptance Binding Agreement (MRABA), previously known as the "Preference Card," is a crucial document in Clemson University's sorority recruitment process. This Is the document that a PNM will sign at the conclusion of her final round in Recruitment.
Here's what you need to know:
Commitments: By signing the MRABA, PNMs commit to accepting a bid from any sorority they rank. This commitment lasts for one calendar year, from August to August.
Consequences: Once a PNM receives a bid from a listed sorority, she is bound to that sorority for the specified period. Declining a bid from a listed sorority renders PNMs ineligible for Continuous Open Bidding (COB) during specific periods.
Selection Process: PNMs rank sororities visited during the final round, with assistance from her Pi Chi. The paper MRABA and computer selections must match and cannot be altered once submitted.
Options: Before signing, PNMs have options:
Withdraw from recruitment and remain eligible for COB.
List sororities they are willing to accept bids from, ensuring no preferences are ranked that they are unwilling to accept.
PNMs may also opt for a single preference, though single preferences do not guarantee bids.
Continuous Open Bidding (COB): PNMs not receiving bids from listed sororities remain eligible for COB, though participation from sororities may be limited.
The MRABA ensures clarity and commitment throughout the recruitment process, emphasizing thoughtful decision-making and maximizing options for PNMs.

PNM COMPANION APP
The PNM Companion App is compatible for iOS and Android users. This app is only for PNMs. To download, go to the App Store for your respective device and search “PNM Companion”. An image of the app icon is below. PNMs will use their Campus Director username and password to login to the app. PNMs will use this app to view their schedules and make selections after all four rounds. Using the same email address and password that the PNM used to create her Campus Director Account, she will login to the PNM Companion App. Once signed in, the PNM should click the schedule icon at the bottom of the app.
VIEWING SCHEDULES
Viewing Schedules: You are able to view your PNM’s schedule with her before any round! The first time they will receive a schedule is 8:00am on August 15th. If you would like to meet with your PNMs when that schedule comes out, please do! They will most likely have many questions, so we recommend meeting as a whole group to take questions. During schedule release is when your PNMs may get the most emotional, and so as you get to know them better you will pick up on girls who may want to talk for a longer time and girls who may not want to discuss how they are feeling. Every PNM is different, be with them however is best for them!

Selection Process After Rounds:
VIEWING SCHEDULES & MAKING SELECTIONS
All PNM selections after Round 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be made after each round is completed at a designated time with her Pi Chi. A PNM may not make her selections until the designated time, by which she will have completed ALL invited parties from the previous round. During the designated selections time, Pi Chis should only serve as technical support. If PNMs would like to talk about their selections prior to making them, you will need to connect with her earlier in the day.
Selection Process After Round 1:
Meet as a group (August 14th) and explain the voting process to your group so they can get a hang of the Companion App and how it will assist them with their schedules. You will then help each PNM and help them place their votes based on the Round 1 videos. Your PNMs will receive their Round 2 schedules Thursday, August 15th.
Selection Process After Rounds 2 & 3:
Meet with each PNM to go through her go through the Round 2 and 3 voting process with her. This may happen at different times for each of your PNMs depending on their schedules. Remember that PNMs can attend a max of TEN parties for this round. Work with your Pi Chi shift to speak to your PNMs in LJC after their parties. This will be one-on-one and allot time for them to talk through their thoughts and feelings with you prior to voting.
Selection Process After Round 4:
Following the end of Round 4, PNMs will make their votes with staff in Memorial Auditorium, and after this there will be no communication between Pi Chi’s and PNMs. With this being said, I encourage you to speak to your PNMs as much as you can earlier in the day and give them as much time as possible to talk through their thoughts. Encourage them to look back over their notes they’ve taken during the week and listen to their gut feelings. After the final round they will be tempted to go to you for counseling, so try to get as much time in with them before this period of silence. Each PNM will meet with an FSL member to sign the MRABA and complete their choices after Preference.

Snap bidding is allowed only for chapters that did not match to quota in the bid-matching process. Typically, chapters at Clemson match to quota so we ask that you do not mention it to PNMs or get their hopes up about a snap bid. If they ask questions about snap bidding, please answer the questions.
If needed, snap bidding will be coordinated by Ellie Cahil.
If any, snap bids will be extended after bid-matching from 5:30 AM - 7:30 AM on Tuesday, August 20th (PRIOR to the start of bid day).
Snap Bidding is not used to fill spaces in chapter total.
Snap bidding is limited to any woman who registered and participated in at least one round of Primary Recruitment and did not receive a bid through bid matching.
A PNM may be offered more than one snap bid.
To be eligible, a PNM must have attended at least one round of recruitment to receive a snap bid PNM’s who intentional-single preference and don’t receive a bid are eligible.

Continuous Open Bidding (COB) is an informal recruitment process where Panhellenic chapters can recruit up to campus total. Total is the median chapter size of all 13 chapters.
COB takes place after primary recruitment in the fall and in the spring once campus total is reevaluated. So once bids are distributed on Tuesday August 20th COB has technically begun However, chapters have to wait to see if they are eligible for COB. Ellie Cahilll has 72 hours following the conclusion of Bid Day to reset total. Once the total is reset, the chapters then know who is eligible for COB. Chapter’s should not be COBing until they know whether or not they are eligible PNMs who decline a bid offered to them through 2025 primary recruitment are not eligible for fall 2025 COB or spring 2026 COB.
COB is not a structured process and not all Panhellenic chapters participate in it Panhellenic Exec will potentially hold a COB Open House early in the Spring Semester for women interested in COB, but it is ultimately up to each chapter how they conduct their COB process.
If a PNM is interested in learning more about COB she can learn more on the Panhellenic Website at https://www.clemsonpanhellenic.com/continuous-open-bidding/ and fill out the interest form if she would like to participate in COB in the fall or spring. The COB interest form will open right as Bid Day concludes on Tuesday, August 22nd
To be eligible for COB, it is not a requirement that a woman participate in Primary Recruitment.
If a PNM wishes to be released, their Pi Chi will be sent the release form. They will fill this out on the Pi Chi’s phone.
If you have any Potential New Members withdraw/be released, be sure to continue to invite them to dinners and activities throughout the week.
If they choose to come, make sure the rest of the group does not emphasize the fact that they are no longer participating in recruitment.
After recruitment is over, pay special attention to them. They still look up to you, and consider you a role model. Help them learn about COB opportunities or other organizations on campus that they can get involved in.
You should also make it a point to meet up with these women, either lunch or dinner, or just to walk on campus during the first week of class. We want her to feel welcomed at Clemson.
If you have reasons to be concerned about this student’s well being, please contact Ellie Cahil as soon as possible.

The conflict form will be due August 14th at midnight. This way you can be sure to remind your girls to submit their forms if needed in your first meetings

FROMPICHIALUMSPi Chi Advice

Your PNMs will RELY on you! But remember they are adult women. They are responsible enough to track their own parties and be on time. Do not feel guilty if one of them misses a party because, at the end of the day, your PNM is responsible for herself. You can only do so much (although you want to do everything). Don't exert yourself.
Get to know your PNMs personally. Many of them are going through big life changes (like moving far from home), and they appreciate your support and listening ear a lot.
Don't be afraid to lean on other Pi Chis. They are there to support you and are the only people who truly understand what this process is like for recruitment counselors.
HAVE FUN!! Bring the energy, a good attitude, and a smile!! Being a Pi Chi is such a special thing to be a part of- don't take it for granted! Love your PNM's well and be who you needed when you went through recruitment!
Connect with you PNMs!!! I know it can be difficult because of the age gap at times but get to know them They will feel so much more comfortable and be able to tell you more about their experience during rush
Really make yourself available to for your girls to talk things through with you and just LISTEN to them! It’s so helpful for these girls to be able to verbally process and have someone to go to to talk all things rush You don’t need to have the right words or the best advice, you just need to be able to listen And please please please remind the girls that sororities aren’t everything and that there are so many other orgs and clubs to help make Clemson feel like home!
BE ON TIME!!! (sorry again lol)
Have fun with it!! Enjoy the people around you because there is nothing else like this experience!
Always always stay positive! These girls have so many negative and stressful thoughts and all they need is some sunshine in their life through recruitment!
You get out what you put in! Meet and talk to other pi chis
Take care of yourself first You can’t help others swim if you are drowning too The PNMS you get are going to need you, even if they have a hard time admitting it Ask each PNM if they would like to chat and then pull them somewhere to have one on one time, they LOVE this They need you to create a safe space for them
Take in every moment Being a Pi Chi is so exciting, and it can be exhausting Take it all in This is your moment to be supportive, kind, and put your best foot forward Learn from each other, lean on your other Pi Chis, and remember your values and the love you have for yourself!
Be ready to get emotionally invested in your girls!!! These are the best few weeks of being able to pour your all into supporting the PNM you once were Just focus on being the Pi Chi you needed going through recruitment, and it will be great!!! Enjoy the friendships made with the other Pi Chis, these girls are so special!!

"Coming from out of state I had no idea what to expect, I had big shoes to fill in terms of sisterhood and knew that I wanted to find my forever best friends through the rush process. After many meaningful conversations I just knew that I was meant to be in AXO, I was constantly welcomed with open arms, genuine conversation, and the feeling of sisterhood. 2 years later, I now live will all my sisters, who are my forever best friends and will be there from bridesmaids to old ladies and everything in between. You’ll be seeing and hearing a lot about AOII as you arrive at Clemson. AOII will participate in the first round of Panhellenic recruitment, where you’ll be able to view their chapter video during Convocation along with the other chapters.
Following the first round, AOII’s recruitment events will begin on Wednesday, September 3rd. There will also be plenty of opportunities to meet members of AOII before their recruitment events, especially if traditional Panhellenic recruitment doesn’t align with your plans.

“Being from the Midwest, when I came to Clemson I did not know a single soul. I was in love with the concept of sororities, recruitment, making new friends, and being part of a sisterhood that would last a lifetime. I knew nothing about the different sororities so I went into recruitment with an open mind. Alpha Phi felt like home to me right away. Their elegant style and genuinely welcoming, fun, and spirited aura was just perfect. My bid day buddy Caroline was so sweet and made bid day so memorable for me. My big Nikki, what can I say, she is like a best friend, a sister and an admirable role model all rolled up into one amazing person. With the many other great friendships I have formed as a sister in Alpha Phi, I am so grateful to this chapter. From fundraisers to almost weekly themed mixers – there is never a dull moment. I have gotten so many great experiences that I will carry with me through my lifetime. Alpha Phi is truly the place to be.”

“Why did I choose Chi O…. Where do I begin… where else would I find friends that laugh with me as hard and as loud as my friends in chi o. Where else would I find friends that constantly put a smile on my face and light up my day (in the rare occasion I’m not smiling). From the moment I walked into Chi O at rush I knew this is where I belonged, where i was meant to be, and sure enough it couldn’t have folded out better. Who would have thought I would call my next door neighbors on the hall my best friends, chi o, a place where strangers become friends, and friends become sisters. But what an adventure this has been, and I say this in complete honesty, I would not change a thing for the world."

Hey PC 25! I am a senior Tri Delta from Greenville, SC! Looking back on my 3 years in Tri Delta is something that I can proudly say has shaped me into the person that I am today. Now, we all know that it s not where you are but who you surround yourself with - the women in this chapter have inspired me to strive to be encouraging, loyal, silly, loving, adventurous, and kind to everyone. From living on the 5th floor in manning, to living on the sorority quad, to living off campus with 30 of my best friends, there have been more friendships and memories than I can count. While in Tri Delta, I had the opportunity to serve as the PC 23 new member ‘mom’ which gave me the chance to create meaningful relationships with girls that were 2 years younger than me. Whether it was going on coffee dates, having a scavenger hunt around campus, or getting excited as I walked past them on the way to class, I loved having a friendship with each and every one of them. That is something that is truly unique about Tri Delta - being able to call 300 girls (whether a freshman or senior) your friends and sisters. It's having girls that genuinely care about each other and want to see each other succeed in and out of college. Now, my time at Clemson and in Greek life is about to end, but I know that a part of my story will always lie within Tri Delta and my friendships there.

Coming to Clemson from a small town in Southwest Virginia, the idea of joining a sorority was a foreign concept to me and I was not yet ready to dive into Greek Life I had a great freshman year experience, but I knew something was missing. I decided to officially register for primary recruitment for Fall 2023. Recruitment is an emotional rollercoaster for everyone, but I knew going through the process as a sophomore would present me with more challenges than most I found myself fighting to find the right fit, and at times I didn’t think there was a place for me in a sorority at all. The only place that I felt truly at home was with Delta Gamma. The DG’s that I had met during my freshman year are some of the most bubbly and genuine girls I’ve met to this day. Two of my roommates were already members in DG, so I thought I knew everything there was to know Going through primary recruitment showed me just how wrong I was. Every party I had with DG, I was greeted by the most welcoming, smiling faces. Everyone I had previously met had gone out of their way to give me a hug which made it clear how excited these girls were to have me there About halfway through recruitment I was still unsure if DG was the right fit, but Preference Round changed everything Listening to my roommate Bella’s “Why DG” story helped me find my own reason for wanting to wear the Golden Anchor. I felt that Delta Gamma was the one place I could truly be myself and grow into the person I strived to be. I knew that I would be surrounded by sisters who would support me in my college endeavors and remain my best friends for my entire life. I saw myself guiding others through recruitment and taking on a leadership position of my own someday. Looking back almost a year later, I am now serving as Delta Gamma’s Director of Sisterhood, and I have no doubt that deciding to join DG was the best decision I’ve ever made

“I went through formal recruitment my freshman year with no idea what to expect. I was so nervous going into it, but it beyond exceeded my expectations! My Pi Chi and every chapter I talked to were so kind, but Gamma Phi stood out to me throughout the whole recruitment process. Every time I went into Gamma Phi, I was at ease, and every conversation I had was so easy and real. I instantly clicked with everyone I talked to in Gamma Phi! I remember feeling so overjoyed when I opened my bid day card and saw Gamma Phi Beta! Now that I have been in Gamma Phi for almost two years, I can say joining was one of my best decisions! I have met some of my closest friends in college through Gamma Phi and had so many opportunities because I joined! I used to not believe in the whole “this is how you’ll meet your future bridesmaids” story, but I’m here to tell you it’s the truth. I can genuinely see the friends I’ve made in Gamma Phi sticking by my side for the rest of my life! I am so proud to say that I am a member of Gamma Phi Beta at Clemson University!”

I love how involved everyone is and how passionate we each are about our different interests. "while my freshman year at clemson was great, I always knew that there was something missing to truly make it feel like home. that missing piece was pi phi. joining this sisterhood has, without a doubt, been one of the most incredible decisions i’ve ever made each day, I find myself overflowing with gratitude for all that pi phi has given me. from amazing roommates who became my closest friends, to endless laughter, to longlasting memories, and everything else that fills the space in between. I never understood the excitement people had for joining a sorority until I found pi phi. being surrounded by such a supportive and remarkable group of women has not only inspired me, but helped me grow into the best version of myself. being an angel holds such a special place in my heart, and it’s a beautiful aspect of my life that I get to share with so many incredible girls. i absolutely adore this chapter and bond we share!"

"My experience in Sigma Kappa, Kappa Pi is something I could genuinely talk about for hours! Coming into Clemson as the only person from my high school in Austin, Texas, I really had no expectations for how branching out or finding my people would go. I signed up for Primary Recruitment without having a mother or sister to compare an experience to, but knew I needed that push to cultivate new relationships outside of my comfort zone. Sigma Kappa was my first party on Philanthropy Day 1, and it was immediately an immense sense of comfort I ended up meeting my future big on Sisterhood Day 1, and when I talked to her again during Preference Round, I confidently told her Sigma Kappa was the place I wanted to be and that I would suicide bid. From Bid Day to now, our four values of friendship, loyalty, service, and personal growth are something that I have experienced first-hand in anything I have been a part of. From being someone who is nervous to talk in large groups, my fellow sisters have instilled a confidence in me that I never would have uncovered alone, and have pushed me into opportunities with unwavering support What I love about Kappa Pi is our diversity and appreciation for our differences, which in turn creates an overwhelming feeling of acceptance. This feeling of being accepted for being unapologetically me has given me the confidence to be in leadership roles like our current Vice President of Standards and Values, as well as the chance to be in wonderful opportunities like Sigma Kappa’s 2025 Miss Clemson University Scholarship Pageant representative Given that I have gained so much in only two years and still have two more left, I am immensely grateful for the sisterhood of Kappa Pi!"

“Coming from a tight-knit group of girlfriends at home, sisterhood holds immense importance to me, and through the recruitment process, I sought a genuine sisterhood resembling what I grew up with Choosing Zeta, I discovered not just friends for four years, but sisters for life. Each member embodied Zeta's nine key values: being rather than seeming, humility, leadership, lifelong learning, love, loyalty, responsibility, seeking understanding for true wisdom, and service. The unity and affection within Zeta were evident in their interactions and campus involvement. Zeta has shown me what it means to belong to a loving, supportive community, enriching my Clemson experience and beyond Volunteering at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K walk in Greenville stands out as a cherished memory, where I connected with survivors and fighters, offering support and empowerment. Serving as Sunshine Chair on the programs council allowed me to deepen my bonds with my sisters. Reflecting on my recruitment experience, joining Zeta has made me a better leader, sister, and friend, and I'm grateful for the lifelong friendships and future bridesmaids I've found.”
