COURSE GUIDE 2026 YEAR 7 OVERVIEW

The CLC Education charter is a powerful document underpinned by the College Vision and values of Justice, Love, Compassion and Hope.

It sets high expectations while encouraging personal growth and community engagement. Students are inspired to set ambitious goals, take thoughtful risks in their learning and celebrate excellence in its many forms—whether academic, creative or personal.

The CLC Education Charter embodies five interrelated attributes - Excellence, Wisdom, Belonging, Courage, and Responsibility. These values guide students in their daily learning and interactions, preparing them to embrace opportunities and meet the challenges of their future with confidence.

At CLC, Year 7 students begin their secondary schooling with a broad and balanced curriculum based on the Victorian Curriculum. This foundation year gives students the opportunity to experience all key learning areas, ensuring a strong base across core subjects while also encouraging them to explore new interests. The program is designed not only to support academic growth but also to challenge students to think deeply, ask big questions and engage with meaningful ideas.

We value working in partnership with families and look forward to supporting each student as they discover their strengths, develop confidence and begin building the skills and pathways that will shape their future success.
