RETURN TO OUR ROOTS

For Brown & Hurley, our business started out as agricultural and machinery dealers in the 1940’s. Brown & Hurley’s first sale was a HG 42 Oliver Cletrac sold in 1947, and then we began to sell David Brown farm tractors from 1954 to 1968, before moving into the truck market.

Since mid-2019, we have continued to grow the Agricultural side of our business by investing in Roma, Emerald and Rockhampton, purchasing existing businesses and establishing new dealerships to show our commitment and support to the agricultural industry and local communities.

Brown & Hurley Agriculture has re-established our connection with the agricultural machinery and farming sector.

OUTSTANDING COMFORT

The redesigned seat features integrated suspension and extra cushioning for ultimate comfort. When working on the most uneven ground, such as when working on cultivated soils, the undulations are counteracted for a smoother ride. The ‘flip-up’ armrests further enhances day-long comfort. All key controls have been positioned so they fall natural to hand for productive ergonomic operation and the semi-flat platform offers more space and greater day-long operator comfort.

The productive three-cylinder, 2.9 litre (S8000) FPT designed diesel engine packs a larger displacement and delivers greater power and efficiency enabling you to complete the most demanding tasks with ease, especially those which are more commonly associated with more powerful machines. The mechanical PTO delivers robust and reliable performance and the high capacity hydraulics make for quick cycle times when working with a loader, affording precision control. TT3.50’S DNA

TD5 Range. 90 to 110 HP

EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS ON THE BONNET

The TD5 range’s performance is immediately obviously to all users. How? Quite simply it’s on the bonnet. The ‘5’ refers to the tractor’s category and the following two or three numbers, for example ‘110’, refer to the maximum engine power, rounded to the nearest five. The ‘D’ denotes entry level traditional tractors. What does that mean to you? You can buy your TD5 safe in the knowledge that its performance, reliability and proven ‘D’ heritage will perfectly match your requirements. A PERFECT VIEW

Improved visibility means a higher degree of operating precision. That’s why New Holland developed the high visibility roof panel. This handy skylight offers perfect loader visibility at full extension without the need to crane your neck. INTEGRATED FRONT END LOADER

Sometimes there is strength in size, but with the T7 Heavy Duty range New Holland has distilled the essence of high horsepower tractors in a standard frame into just two models: the T7.290 and the T7.315. These models offer 6% higher lift capacity than the standard T7 range, up to 11058kg, to enable you to work with the largest of implements. The 11cm longer wheelbase delivers even greater highspeed stability and draft performance. In its quest for baling excellence, New Holland has listened to its customers and responded to the industry trend by making another revolutionary step in baling technology, entering the High Density baling segment. The new BigBaler 1290 High Density will produce bales up to 22% more dense than standard conventional balers, making for more efficient logistics & transport – ideal for professional baling contractors.

OUTSTANDING PICKUP VISIBILITY

Thanks to the balers short and narrow drawbar and its non-reflective yellow colour, operators have excellent visibility of the pick-up when baling

HIGH DENSITY PERFORMANCE

The BigBaler 1290 High Density doesn’t only produce up to 22% higher density bales, it also delivers higher productivity, even more so than the current BigBaler plus range. This is in part, thanks to the new five-bar pickup, which helps feed in crop at higher rates.

CENTRALISED CONTROL

During long baling days, small things can make a big difference, so just imagine what a significant impact big things can have. The user interface on the IntelliView™ IV colour touchscreen display has been completely redesigned to enable operators to control the main functions from the screen, including specific, direct-access ‘action’ buttons, which can be used to control features such as bale density, bale length and PTO engagement.

EASY ACCESS HYDRAULICS

The primary hydraulic functions can also be controlled from the cab, including bale eject, which means operators no longer need to jump in and out of the cab during bale ejection between crops, fields, farms or at the end of a day’s baling.

New Holland has been putting the ‘big’ into big square baling for over three decades. Since its first big balers rolled off the production line in 1987, some 20,000 examples have been put to work in the world’s fields. Today, all BigBalers are produced in Zedelgem, Belgium, New Holland’s Centre of Harvesting Excellence, where they are designed, manufactured, tested and shipped the world over.

SUPER BOOM®: BETTER STABILITY, HEIGHT AND DISCHARGE RANG

As the loader arms go up, it moves the load forward, not back, toward the operator. Combined with a Larger Bucket Closure Angle; this provides better material retention and efficiency. Result: higher reach and height, which allow the material to be unloaded in places where others cannot reach (in the middle of a truck’s high bucket and more productivity, for example).
