GRATITUDE FESTIVAL | ALL YEARS

The school was a hive of activity this summer term with an inaugural gratitude festival, so named because June was the month where the school explored the character quality of gratitude, and emerging from what has been a challenging academic year, the very act of coming together and sharing the work of our pupils has been a real cause for celebration. Over the course of a two-week period in the run up to the end of term, we saw a vibrant and eclectic range of activities and events taking place throughout the school. Each and every pupil can be proud of their achievements this academic year and it has been a real privilege to be able to run these events.

INDEPENDENT SCHOOL OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2021 | SENIOR AND PREP

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Claremont Fan Court School, alongside the Preparatory School, has been shortlisted for the Independent School of the Year awards.

The categories we have been nominated for are Co-Educational School of the Year 2021 and Independent Prep School of the Year 2021.

A VIRTUAL CHRISTMAS CAROL SERVICE

The school’s annual Christmas carol service at Christ Church Esher, took place a little differently this year, to ensure the event could be run in line with COVID-19 protocols. Instead of filling the church pews, the choir, various string ensembles, a Christmas address from Mr Brierly, and pupil readings were all pre-recorded for the Senior School to watch online. Despite the difference in set up, it was wonderful that the performances were still able to go ahead inside the church, and the event continues to be a lovely way in which to celebrate the festive season.
