House competitions

HOUSE DAYS | ALL YEARS
Despite restrictions, we were pleased to see good old-fashioned house rivalry going ahead at the end of each term this year. The autumn term saw a carousel of indoor and outdoor activities including tackle bag challenges, egg and spoon races, cross country and a Christmas film quiz. Each year group from Year 7-10 dazzled in the spring term with origami flower arrangements, Easter code cracking, problem solving, observational skills tests and physical sporting challenges to name but a few. Pupils took to the fields for a summer of sport to complete the academic year. Alongside track and field events, summer term house activities also included a rib-tickling house joke competition and a fictional ‘Claremont Fest’ event planning competition. Overall, a superb year of house participation!
