User Journey - Research Analysis
Conducting primary research to understand student’s daily work and non work routines.
Type of research to be conducted?

Short questionnaire, asking:
• What does your daily work day look like?
• What does your non-work day look like?
Who will be asked?
A range of students studying different art & design courses. This will give more in depth qualitative results. Why this research is being conducted?
Conducting this research is necessary to:
• Understand user needs - different students studying different courses will need various tools and equipment. • Understand user journeys - how students may move around a space. What needs to be in close approximately depending on how often they use/need things. • Analyse any similarities and/or differences in students’ routines. This will make it easier to identify spaces, facilities and equipment that is representative of their needs.
• Acknowledge individuals - how each student work, for how long and how often.
But, to also look at other activities they may do to fill the day. • Find ways of improving the working and living environment of students. • Support design my proposal - knowing students daily routines will ensure my design is relevant, accommodates their needs and improve user experience.
