What is a CJS audit?

We run cleaning and hygiene audits for different areas within an organisation; housekeeping, laundry, kitchen, machinery and infection control, depending upon your needs. The audits are to ensure that all cleaning and chemical dispensers, products and machinery are in good working order.

Specifically the audits will cover the following: Laundry • the machines that are used • washes per week • kg washes per week • wash types regular readings are taken to determine cost in use with any spikes in washing demands being apparent Kitchen • whether machines are operating effectively • kitchen hygiene; surfaces, equipment, walls/doors, wasate areas, floors etc.

• whether dispensers are functionally properly and need refilling • appropriate signage is in place • appropriate PPE in place • swab test to determine hygiene levels with subsequent critical areas being addressed for infection control Machinery • whether machines are operating effectively • determine whether machines are in good repair • determine that they have been cleaned properly after use

Housekeeping • cloth and equipment colour coding being followed correctly • products are being used/dosed correctly and safely • appropriate charts and schedules are in place • appropriate PPE in place • swab test to determine hygiene levels with subsequent critical areas being addressed for infection control • whether nfection control pack in place and complete • identify issues and any recommendations
