What is COSHH? The Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health

Why do you and/or your staff need COSHH training?

The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) look after the Health & Safety legistlation throughout the UK. Part of this includes the safe handling of chemicals.

In 1988, the COSHH Regulations came into place making it the responsibility of manufacturers, distributors, employers and employees to be accountable for their own actions around the safe use of chemicals.

Only 57% of staff received training within the cleaning sector in the UK, compared to other sectors with 62%-66% Source: British Cleaning Council 2017

CJS COSHH training We offer our customers access to COSHH Awareness Level 1 Training session with qualified trainers. This session covers why COSHH is important in your everyday working and what you as an employer or an employee needs to do to comply with COSHH.

At the end of the session, you will receive a personalised training certificate.
