Michael E. Williams, MD Dr. Michael E. Williams is the Byrd S. Leavell professor of medicine and professor of pathology at UVA School of Medicine. Dr. Williams received his MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and a master of science from the Harvard School of Public Health. He completed his medicine residency, chief residency and fellowship in hematology/oncology at the UVA Health in Charlottesville. Dr. Williams’ research interests are in novel therapeutic approaches for non-Hodgkin lymphomas, mantle cell lymphoma and CLL, including targeted agents and immunotherapeutics. He serves on the scientific advisory board of the Lymphoma Research Foundation, and is a member of the European Mantle Cell Lymphoma Network and the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group Lymphoma Core Committee. He is a former chair of the Hematology Subspecialty Board of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He participates regularly in national and international programs devoted to education and research in lymphoma, CLL and other hematologic malignancies.

Keynote Special Guest Speaker Dennis Gage host of My Classic Car Automotive legend Dennis Gage, host of My Classic Car is wildly enthusiastic about what he does. If you didn’t know him by name, you probably knew him by that amazing handlebar mustache that he sports. The series features Gage as he checks out major classic automobile shows and personal collections. Some episodes even feature celebrity guests, such as Jay Leno. Now in production for its 26th season, My Classic Car is the longest running show of its kind in television history. It is carried on MotorTrend, MAVTV and Rev’n networks, reaching over 100 million households in the US and many times that worldwide via a number of streaming platforms. In addition, Dennis is the Executive Producer of the motorcycle television programs, Trippin’ on Two Wheels and Corbin’s Ride On, and the reality series, Texas Hardtails, as well as the independent film, Novem. In 2010 Dennis became sole owner of the production company and renamed it MadStache, Inc. With his lifelong love of cars, motorcycles and the creative process, he states: “This has got to be the ultimate job!”

AFTER DINNER EVENT Special Outdoor Showing Ford v Ferrari presented by Boar's Head Resort The drama film Ford v Ferrari tells the story of the 1966 twenty four hours of Le Mans endurance race. While the movie covers the race's underlying rivalry between Ford Motor Company and Ferrari, its true focus is on the two racing legends who helped develop Ford's program. The film will be shown outdoors on the lawn just a short walk from Boar's Head Resort Pavilion. Popcorn will be served. A cash bar will be in close proximity. General seating on the lawn. May we suggest that you bring a folding chair or blanket.
