La città mostra le sue esigenze, la sua frugalità, la sua vanità e la sua brutalità riempita dal suo tropicalismo insaziabile. Rio de Janeiro is a paradoxical city due to the conditions it creates, despite the statue of the Redeemer standing on top of the Corcovado, this metropolis is based on its strength to fight damnation. All the objective assessments won’t change anything. The beauty of this metropolis lies in its capacity to create antithetical conditions.
