There are thousands of nonprofits across central Ohio looking for someone like you to get involved in donating your time, talent, or treasure to their cause.

That is one of the many reasons we produce this semi-annual Citywide Charity Guide, and why we are thrilled to shine the spotlight on the community impact of The Columbus Foundation's 5 Nonprofits to Watch.

These Columbus nonprofit leaders and organizations truly embody the pulse of our city!

CityPulse Columbus is produced through a partnership of the Columbus Young Professionals (CYP) Club and the Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC), with support from a number of amazing organizations, including Besa, Discover Financial, Fisher College at OSU, Huntington National Bank, Ohio Dominican University, Quantum Health, Ryan Deeter Realtor, The Columbus Foundation, and many more.

THE COLUMBUS FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES 5 NONPROFITS TO WATCH IN 2023

For almost ten years, The Columbus Foundation s 5 Nonprofits to Watch platform has been honored to amplify the mission of nonprofit organizations that embody the pulse and essence of Columbus," said Danielle Tong, Director, Capacity Building & Community Knowledge at The Columbus Foundation. "In recent years, the Foundation’s intentional focus on elevating smaller, lesser known organizations brings with it the acknowledgement of the tremendous value that small nonprofits bring to our city.”

With this distinction, each nonprofit will receive a $20,000 unrestricted grant. In addition, The Columbus Foundation is offering each organization a consulting engagement with UpRys, a local strategy consulting and project-based delivery firm, to help address growth, capacity building, and sustainability. Capacity building projects will be developed by the organizations themselves and reflect the organizations' greatest priorities.
