Welcome to the Salisbury Sport newsletter, providing you with an update on sport and recreation activities within the City of Salisbury. The Summer School Holidays are just around the corner and we encourage you to be active in your local community, meet new people and have lots of fun. EVENTS Erin Bell Netball Clinics Come along and be trained by 3 time ANZ Championship winner and duel World Champion netballer, Erin Bell. Erin and her team will be coming back to the Gardens Recreation Centre with a new look ‘2 Day Program’. The program will include footwork, skills & technique, game sense & match play, attacking & defending, Bell’s bootcamp and some great information around healthy eating and goal setting. Dates: Ages:

19 and 21 January 2016 7-10 years, 10am to 12noon (1 day $40 or 2 days $60)

11-14 years, 1pm to 4pm (1 day $50 or 2 days $80)

Sports Ability Launch Sports Ability is an inclusive activities program designed for people with a disability. This program involves the development of basic fundamental movements and basic coordination skills. When:

MILO T20 Blast MILO T20 Blast is the next step in the pathway following MILO in2CRICKET and is ideal for girls and boys looking to start playing cricket! Aimed at ages 7 to twelve, T20 Blast runs one night a week for 10 weeks throughout Term 1. It is the perfect introduction to playing matches and continuing to learn skills. All Centres start with a FREE Come & Try Session with appearances from Adelaide Strikers players, giveaways and the Strikers mascot, SMASH! All T20 Blast Programs are professionally run by qualified SACA staff and coaches. SACA has teamed up with both the City of Salisbury to provide the above MILO T20 Blast Programs at a subsidised rate to all participants. Salisbury Super Centre MILO T20 Blast - Free Come & Try Day on Saturday 6 February from 8.30 am to 10am. Salisbury North Cricket Club.
