Game Masters Tuesdays, commencing 2 August 3.34pm to 5pm Ages: 8 to 14 years Join us for an advanced game making 6 week course to take your game design to the next level. Making retro style video games is a great way to engage young people in coding, physics, maths, art, and design. This program will show experienced coders how to take their games to the next level. Drawing on examples of classic games, participants will code a number of different genres and receive tailored assistance in developing their own project.

The Lab Saturdays, 10am to 2pm Ages: 10 to 16 years The Lab Program is a technology club for children aged 10-16 years with high functioning Autism. Facilitated by the Benevolent Society this NDIS program offers a safe environment where children and teens can meet like-minded peers and create friendships around a shared interest in technology.

Urban Food Gardening - Term 4 Commencing Saturday 22 October (4 sessions) 10am to 12pm, Ages: 12+ Ideal for people who have a smaller space at home to garden in. These sessions will show you how to practice the cultivation of food in urban areas. Over 4 sessions you will learn about everything ‘urban gardening’, including: plant propagating and seed saving, soil health and composting, veg and fruit production, food forests and animal systems. Little Hoppers Wednesdays, commencing 10 August, 10.30am to 11.30am, Ages: 4 to 7 years and parent/guardian Little Hoppers is a five-week course that will help you teach your little ones the principles of coding. We focus on teaching essential coding concepts such as events, loops, sequences, and debugging, which are critical to learn and master in order to progress and advance coding skills. Each child will require an adult who will be with them to co-learn and assist with the coding tasks. Bookings required.
