Beginner Fit If you are new to exercising, deconditioned or out of shape or have an injury, this class is for you. For the first 45 minutes, class will focus is on guided instruction in one of four popular class formats: Yoga, Group Cycling, Boot Camp and Body Sculpt. The final 15 minutes will be dedicated to answering participant’s questions, assisting with modification recommendations, and short-term, individualized fitness assessments to help participants determine which classes and workouts would be best for them. Enjoy the company of fellow seniors as you improve your strength, mobility, balance, and posture. We use chairs, light hand-weights, resistance tubes, small inflatable balls and other light tools as we work through a variety of interesting and fun individual, group and team exercises. We'll guide you every step of the way. All exercises can be performed from a sitting, standing position or a combination of the two. Class will meet in the multi-purpose room. Yoga is a great total body workout. This class will help you build strength, improve posture, flexibility and balance through combinations of breathing and postures.
