Senior SPOTLIGHT Genevieve Albert is one of the most dedicated senior volunteers at the South Central Southeast Focal Point Senior Center. She migrated to the states from Haiti. Genevieve was determined to learn English and started attending the Basic English class offered at the senior center. Besides making strides with learning a new language Genevieve wanted to help her peers. She became a volunteer at the center and it has been the highlight of Genevieve’s membership. You can count on Genevieve to always have a smile on her face and going above and beyond to help everyone. Genevieve is admired for her continuous dedication, and we are grateful to have her at the SCSEFP.
