On the thirty-first anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Mayor Jay Wagner (shown in the purple tie) declared July 26, 2021,Americans with Disabilities Act Awareness Day in the City of High Point at a High Point City Council meeting.
Also in attendance were High Point Parks & Recreation Director Lee Tillery (not shown), our ASPIRE staff and several of our Miracle League families. Mark Springfield from the Disability Advocacy Center (center) accepted the proclamation.

Oakview's Superhero Day Celebration
Oakview Recreation Center's Summer Day Camp celebrated Super Hero Day in August. Campers made superhero crafts, ate a super hero lunch and played superhero games. The planet is safe with all these heroes around!



Deep River Recreation Center's Trailblazers Summer Camp
Our Trailblazers summer campers from Deep River Recreation Center recently spent a morning at Oak Hollow Campground learning about camping and outdoor safety from High Point Park Ranger Thomas Roehm.
