Occupying two floors on the campus of Colorado School of Mines, Mines Museum of Earth Science showcases an extensive collection of minerals, mining artifacts, meteorites, fossils and gemstones with more than 2,500 items on display. Explore our indoor mine and discover minerals that glow, admire Miss Colorado’s sparkling crown, visit a moon rock recovered during the Apollo 17 mission and “pet” a dinosaur! Admission is free.
