COFFS HARBOUR
FORESHORE PRECINCT IS UNDERGOING AN EXCITING REVITALISATION TO TRANSFORM THE AREA INTO A VIBRANT AND THRIVING COASTAL DESTINATION FOR LOCALS, VISITORS AND INVESTORS.
This landmark project, led by the NSW Government, balances thoughtful development with community priorities, preserving and enhancing green spaces while unlocking new opportunities for tourism, business, and cultural engagement. Key elements of the proposal include extending
the foreshore zone north to create lively activity nodes, improving public amenities, and delivering community-focused upgrades across the precinct. A comprehensive structure plan for the Marina precinct will guide future development, enhancing the working harbour and supporting sustainable local enterprise.
The revitalisation will also honour the area’s deep connection to Country, strengthening cultural identity, celebrating heritage, and contributing to landscape healing. Improved connectivity, including safe pathways, enhanced parking, and expanded boardwalks, will link key attractions across the precinct.
This transformation will position the Jetty Foreshore as a showcase precinct for Coffs Harbour, where natural beauty, cultural depth and economic opportunity come together.

THE NORTH COAST CONVENTION AND EXHIBITION CENTRE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY IN COFFS HARBOUR WOULD BE A GAME-CHANGER, ADDRESSING A SIGNIFICANT MARKET GAP BETWEEN THE GOLD COAST AND NEWCASTLE.
With no dedicated business event infrastructure of this scale in the region, this proposed stateof-the-art facility represents a rare opportunity to capitalise on unmet demand and drive highvalue tourism and economic growth. Expected to generate between $222–$284 million in economic impact, the centre would play a catalytic role in
urban renewal and job creation - adding 146 jobs during construction and supporting 272 ongoing roles. Designed to host up to 1,200 delegates, it has the potential to position Coffs Harbour as a national leader in business events, unlocking new opportunities for tourism, investment, and regional prosperity.
