New murals are brightening our suburbs, featuring local stories and faces, culture, stunning flora and fauna. These murals showcase the skills of talented South Australian artists and bring liveliness to our streets.

Here are just some of the recent murals that have popped up around our City that you can check out.

Brompton

Seaton

Artist: Adam Poole-Mottishaw

Funded by the City of Charles Sturt Arts Fund

Adam (also know as ColdKrush) worked closely with GYMlife Fitness and Olon to transform the outside of their businesses and bring colour and liveliness to the area.

Findon

119 Findon Road, Findon (Online Business Insurance Brokers - OBIB)

Artist: Tom Readett and Shane Kooka

Funded by OBIB and City of Charles Sturt Arts Fund

Featuring a portrait of the business owner’s son Michael who uses a wheelchair, his gaze crosses the Sturt Desert Peas with a fox, kangaroo and other native fauna and flora.

Hindmarsh

Mary Street, Hindmarsh

Artists: Fabbio Timpano (mural pictured) and Ella Simpson

Funded by the Hindmarsh Streetscape Upgrade Project

Ride down the new bike lane on Mary Street next to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre to check out the two new murals adoring the street. It’s a short walk from Coopers Stadium or the Hindmarsh tram stop too.

More Murals To Come Around Our City

• Hendon: a 26 metre long mural being painted by Robert Spaan and Claire Wildish and the community at Uniting Communities, funded by the Arts Fund.

The Olon mural features soccer player Sam Kerr and the late cricketer Shane Warne, to provide a hint of what’s on offer inside Adelaide’s first indoor sports, fitness and virtual reality centre.
