More professionals for the Municipal Guard

In order to guarantee the public safety of Cabreúva, the municipal administration spares no efforts to achieve this purpose. So much so that, at the end of last year, the City Hall swore in new servants, to compose the effective framework of its Municipal Guard.

Through the Secretariat of Security and Social Defense, the city now has nine highly trained civil servants to work with the population.

The new GMs participated in the training course, with a workload of 562 hours, distributed in disciplines focused on the daily performance of the workforce.

New Equipment

Still with the firm purpose of guaranteeing the safety of the population in the city, the City Hall delivered, at the beginning of this year, 36 new weapons and ammunition, 32 new 9mm pistols and 4 CTT.40.

This way, the Municipal Guard will be better able to carry out its work on the streets of the city.

In addition to armaments, there was also the acquisition of three new vehicles for the municipal guard, a new vehicle for civil defense and a water truck; Acquisition of new generators and chainsaws for civil defense.

First place in the 2nd Tournament of Police Dogs in the Interior of São Paulo

The dog named Aruk was the highlight of the competition of the 2nd Tournament of Police Dogs in the countryside of São Paulo. He won first place in the “smell” category. Driven by the Municipal Guard Marcelo Pim, Aruk left behind more than 30 dogs that also participated in the competition representing their cities.

Another dog, which also participated in the competition, in the ‘agility’ category was the Dragon. Conducted by the Municipal Guard Anzolini, it shone in the event.

With the score obtained by the two dogs, Cabreúva reached 1st overall, among the 35 cities that participated in the event. The competition took place in the city of Campinas, on the 1st and 2nd of December last year. First place in safety among cities with 50,000 to 100,000 inhabitants in the State of São Paulo
