Professional training courses

The Social Solidarity Fund of Cabreúva carries out several actions for the benefit of the population. Every year, assistance programs are renewed and new actions are carried out in favor of those most in need.

Thus, in addition to assistance programs, the Social Fund also invests in the professional training of citizens. In this way, it established important partnerships with renowned institutions to offer professional training courses.

Among the courses offered are cakes, pies, quiches, vegan food and handmade hamburgers; among others. In partnership with SENAC, courses for logistics assistant and administrative assistant were offered. In partnership with SEBRAE, an eyebrow design course was made available and, with the State Government and Centro Paula Souza, courses for hairdressing, make-up, manicure and pedicure were offered.

With these partnerships, the Social Fund encourages and provides conditions for the population to start or return to the job market, as well as find a new opportunity to generate income for families.

Diaper Factory

The Cabreúva Diaper Factory is one of the most important initiatives, which aims to improve the quality of life of citizens, who need this item on a daily basis.

It is the result of a partnership between the Social Fund and the private sector. Monthly, the factory produces geriatric diapers, which are delivered to the elderly who need this item, which is synonymous with quality of life for this portion of the population.

GESUAS System

Cabreúva’s Assistance and Social Development Department now has a new and important ally: the GESUAS System.

It is a platform that, based on a single base of families, allows for integrated assistance and monitoring with all social assistance equipment in the city.

Thus, it is possible to identify the needs of registered users and serve them more quickly and efficiently.

Amor de Mãe Program

Amor de Mãe program promotes care, attention and respect, helping Cabreuvano mothers to give comfort to the new and little Cabreuvanos, delivering maternity kits for babies born in the city. More than 1300 kits have already been delivered with disposable diapers, diaper rash ointments, liquid soap, wet wipes, among other essential items.

Good Garden

Where the former Urban Services Center was located, which housed tons of leftovers of various types of waste, the Social Fund’s Good Garden was created, which is cultivated and cared for by voluntary servants of the City Hall. The vegetables are distributed to the population in a situation of social vulnerability and delivered to the Santa Casa and the Emergency Care Unit in Cabreúva for the patients’ meals.

Cold Nights Operations

Aiming to warm up the nights of those most in need, Cold Nights Operation involves the active search for homeless people, offering shelter so they can spend the night, in addition to blankets and meal boxes, with the support of the Municipal Guard and the Civil Defense. Sleeping bags are also offered, provided by the State Government, for those who choose not to go to the shelter.

Since the beginning of 2021, dozens of blankets have been distributed and some people sent to shelters.

Social Fund Bakery

Also in 2023, the Social Fund bakery will be inaugurated, which will be allocated in the new FSS headquarters, which will be delivered later this year.

The bakery will use its production of bread for breakfast for children in the public school system, which will be produced by the Social Fund team itself..

In addition, the bakery will have a nutritionist to assist in the preparation of special breads for children who have a special condition, such as gluten intolerance.

Beauty day

On March 8, International Women’s Day, the Cabreúva Social Solidarity Fund, in partnership with the Maria da Penha Patrol of the Municipal Guard, provided a different day for women who are assisted by protective measures determined by Justice.

They had a “beauty day” at a farm in the city, where, in addition to a delicious breakfast, they had a volunteer hairdresser available and were able to exchange their stories and experiences through conversation with members of the Woman Lawyer Commission of the Cabreúva Bar Association (OAB), Dr. Nayara Lopes da Silva Kwiatkowski and Dr. Camila das Graças Oliveira and also had the participation of the Deputy Secretary for Social Security and Defense, Luciana, and the members of the Maria da Penha Patrol, GMF Adriana, GMF Vanessa, GM Luz and GM Pouza, all from the Cabreúva Municipal Guard.

At the end of the meeting, the First Lady and President of the Cabreúva Social Solidarity Fund, Val Mangini, presented the women present with a beautiful souvenir, made with all the dedication and love by the professionals and employees of the Cabreúva Social Solidarity Fund.

Affection, attention, welcome and respect: these were the ingredients used by the Cabreúva Social Solidarity Fund to provide a different day in the lives of these women.
