CabreArte

CabreArte is a creative economy cultural event that moves the city of Cabreúva. It brings together handicrafts, gastronomy and artistic-cultural attractions. There are theatrical performances, music, dance, literature and many others, which attract a large audience eager for culture and interaction. Tourism Monitor Course

The Department of Culture and Tourism of Cabreúva offers the Tourism Monitor course free of charge. Among the contents applied in the course are: tourism techniques, history and environment of Cabreúva.

Recently, classes on heritage were also included in the course load. On the last day of the course, students make a technical visit to visit some of the most visited places in the city, such as the Kadampa Meditation Center and the Guaxinduva Farm, for example. The course has already yielded manpower for several tourist attractions in the municipality.

“Africanidades”

“Africanidades” is in its 2nd Edition. It brings together several workshops focused on Afro culture. Classes are held at the “Fotógrafo Tuta” Cultural Station, in Jacaré and at the Sílvia Covas Culture and Leisure Center, in Vilarejo.

“Fotógrafo Tuta” Cultural Station

Fotógrafo Tuta” Cultural Station located at Rua Maranhão, 866, in Jacaré, works in two disabled train cars. The wagons where the Cultural Station operates were donated by the National Department of Infrastructure and Transport (DNIT). They were renovated and now serve as a cultural stronghold for Cabreúva citizens.

There, in addition to the library, there is also a cinema with capacity for 32 people. The library collection can be accessed for reading in the carriage itself, which has capacity for up to 50 people and the books can be taken home to be read for up to fifteen days, upon prior registration, all of this free of charge. At the cinema, sessions are currently held on Saturdays. The opening hours of the Cultural Station are from Tuesday to Saturday, from 9 am to 4 pm.

Carnabreúva 2023

Carnabreúva 2023 took, during the 6 days of carnival, attractions for the city’s revelers, with events for the whole family that were held at the Centro de Cultura e Lazer Sílvia Covas and at Praça Comendador Martins, with samba, samba school drums and axe. Among the highlights, there was the parade of the cabreuvana Barriga Verde samba school, which celebrated its first parade since 2020, the bands Skyppe, Kracutá, Quebraê and São Roque and also the drums of the blocks Batucada da Coruja and the Samba School Mocidade Independente de Itu, which closed Carnabreúva 2023 on the 24th.

National Meeting of Muladeiros

Cabreúva hosted the National Meeting of Muladeiros (Mules keepers), an event that was held at the Commercial and Business Center (CECOM) between the 23rd and 26th of March and had free admission.

The Meeting brought together mule and horse breeders from all over the country and featured attractions such as gait and animal morphology tests, trade in antique items, saddlery, cutlery and clothing, in addition to the trade in animals.

In addition to attractions for creators, the event had attractions for the general public, such as typical food stalls and country shows in the style of viola, in addition to having a “Kids Space” for children to have fun.

Celebrations of 164 Years of Cabreúva

Cabreúva celebrated its 164 years in style, with a program that took the entire day of March 24, in various parts of the city.

At Praça Comendador Martins, in the center of the city, the day began at 5 am, with a performance by Banda São Roque on the bandstand. At 8:00 am, the flags were raised and the civic parade took place, and at 10:00 am the longawaited cutting of the 164-kilogram cake for the population took place.

The Jacaré neighborhood also received a special 164-kilogram cake, which began to be cut at 11:30 in the morning, in the Bible Square.

Arena Cabreúva was not left out. It was the start of the Adapted Volleyball League, where Cabreúva faced the cities of Boituva and Itu in the 60+ category (2x0 and 1x2) and Tietê (0x2) in the 70+ category, in addition to hosting other League games involving other participating cities.

At 10:00 pm, the country duo João Bosco and Vinicius played their greatest hits at the Antonio Spina Stadium (Sovacão), exciting the audience and ending the celebrations of 164 Years of Cabreúva in style.

CabreArte es un evento cultural de economía creativa que se realiza en la ciudad de Cabreúva. Este reúne artesanía, gastronomía y atracciones artístico-culturales. Son presentaciones teatrales, de música, danza, literatura y tantas otras, que atraen un gran público ávido por cultura e interacción. Curso de Monitor de Turismo

La Secretaría de Cultura y Turismo de Cabreúva ofrece gratuitamente el curso de Monitor de Turismo. Entre los contenidos aplicados en el curso están: técnicas de turismo, historia y medio ambiente de Cabreúva. Recientemente, también se incluyó en la carga horaria del curso, clases sobre el patrimonio. El último día del curso, los alumnos realizan una visita técnica para conocer algunos de los lugares más visitados de la ciudad, como el Centro de Meditación Kadampa y la Estancia Guaxinduva, por ejemplo. El curso utilizó mano de obra a diversos atractivos turísticos del municipio.

“Africanidades”

“Africanidades” está en su 2ª Edición. Esta reúne diversos talleres sobre la cultura afro. Las clases son dictadas en la Estación Cultural “Fotógrafo Tuta”, en Jacaré y en el Centro de Cultura e Entretenimiento Sílvia Covas, en Vilarejo.

Estación Cultural “Fotógrafo Tuta”

La Estación Cultural “Fotógrafo Tuta” localizada en Rua Maranhão, 866, en Jacaré, funciona en dos vagones de trenes desactivados. Los vagones donde funciona la Estación Cultural fueron donados por el Departamento Nacional de Infraestructura y Transporte (DNIT). Estos fueron reformados y ahora sirven de reducto cultural para los habitantes de Cabreúva.

En ellos, además de la biblioteca, también funciona un cine con capacidad para 32 personas. Se puede ingresar al acervo de la biblioteca para lectura en el propio vagón, que tiene capacidad para hasta 50 personas y los libros pueden ser llevados para leerlos en casa por hasta quince días, mediante un previo registro, todo esto gratuitamente. En el cine, actualmente, se realizan sesiones los sábados. El horario de funcionamiento de la Estación Cultural es de martes a sábado, de 9h a 16h.

Carnabreúva 2023

Carnabreúva 2023 llevó, durante los 6 días de carnaval, atracciones a los parranderos de la ciudad, con eventos para toda la familia que se realizaron en el Centro de Cultura y Entretenimiento Silvia Covas y en la Plaza Comendador Martins, con samba, batería de escuela de samba y axé. Entre los destaques, hubo el desfile de la escuela de samba de Cabreúva Barriga Verde, que celebró su primer desfile desde 2020, las bandas Skyppe, Kracutá, Quebraê y São Roque y también las baterías de los bloques Batucada da Coruja y de la Escuela de Samba Mocidade Independente de Itu, que cerró Carnabreúva 2023 el día 24.ì cULTURA

Encuentro Nacional de Muleros

Cabreúva fue sede del Encuentro Nacional de Muleros, evento que se realizó en el Centro Comercial y Empresarial (CECOM) entre los días 23 y 26 de Marzo con entrada gratuita.

El Encuentro unió a criadores de mulas y equinos de todo el país y contó con atracciones como pruebas de marcha y de morfología de animal, comercio de productos antiguos, talabartería, cuchillería y ropas, además del comercio de animales.

Además de atractivos para los criadores, el evento contó con atracciones para el público en general, como tiendas de comidas típicas y shows de música folklórica y guitarreros, además de contar con un “Espacio Kids” para que los niños se diviertan.

Conmemoraciones de los 164 Años de Cabreúva

Cabreúva conmemoró sus 164 Años en gran estilo, contando con una programación que duró todo el día 24 de Marzo, en varios puntos de la ciudad.

En la Plaza Comendador Martins, en el centro de la ciudad, el día comenzó a las 5 de la mañana, con la presentación de la Banda São Roque en el kiosco de la plaza. A las 8 h se izaron las banderas y el desfile cívico, y a las 10 h ocurrió el tan esperado corte de la torta de 164 kg para la población.

El barrio Jacaré también recibió una torta especial de 164 kg, donde su corte se inició a las 11:30h de la mañana, en la Plaza de la Biblia.

Arena Cabreúva también participó. En ella ocurrió el inicio de la Liga de Voleibol Adaptado, donde Cabreúva enfrentó a las ciudades de Boituva e Itu en la categoría 60+ (2x0 y 1x2) y Tiete (0x2) en la categoría 70+, además de ser sede de otros juegos de la Liga incluyendo otras ciudades participantes.

A las 22 h, el dúo folclórico João Bosco y Vinicius tocó sus mayores éxitos en Estadio Antonio Spina (Sovacão), entusiasmando al público y finalizando en gran estilo las conmemoraciones de los 164 Años de Cabreúva.
