“Cabreúva + Health”
With the purpose of investing more and more in the quality of health services offered to the population, the City Hall of Cabreúva, through its Health Department, has been expanding its service network.
To present these actions to Cabreúva citizens, the Program “Cabreúva + Saúde” was created, which exemplifies the new achievements of this area in the municipality.

Among the actions taken to offer more and more quality services are:
- New service units (such as the construction of a UBS in the Vale Verde neighborhood and a new UPA);
- Renovations of existing units (as well as those carried out at Policlínica Milena Ciola, in Novo Bonfim and at the Family Health Unit “Dario Mori Romani”, in the Bananal neighborhood);
- Acquisition of new equipment for carrying out examinations and care (for example, the new ultrasound machine and the new mammogram device in operation at the Center for Medical Specialties);
- 5 new ambulances and 2 brand new vans for patient transportation.
- Zera Fila da Saúde” Program: speed up services to the population.
New Emergency Care Complex
Cabreúva will have a new Emergency Care Complex in the city. Located in the Jacaré neighborhood, the new building will have an area of 2,500 m² and will expand the service capacity of the unit. There will be an Adult and Children’s Emergency Room. The site will also have ample parking.

Policlínica Reopening
Policlínica Milena Ciola was recently reopened. After undergoing an extensive renovation, the space is now completely revitalized.
The unit was readjusted to meet the current demand of residents, who use the services available on site.
Located in Novo Bonfim, Policlínica is of paramount importance for the population of the neighborhood and surroundings. It is one of the most sought after in the region and its doors are open to care for all patients in a humane way.
Future Vision Project
The Future Vision Project makes eyeglasses available free of charge to students in the municipal public school system. Started last year, when visual acuity tests were carried out in schools along with the medical evaluation, students who had the need to wear glasses were contemplated, including being able to choose the model of frame for the glasses, among the more than 20 available.
The first units were delivered in early February to the municipality’s EMEBs. The project will continue this year to make glasses available to students who have not yet been examined.
