Annual Registration Fee
A mandatory $25 annual registration fee is required to participate in recreation and aquatic classes, lessons, camps, leagues, and programs. This per household annual fee is valid for one year from the date of purchase and required at the time of registration Once purchased all household members are eligible for enrollment Annual registration fees are nonrefundable
Refund Policy
Except as otherwise stated, refunds or credits will not be issued after payment has been made for an activity, class, league or program.
Exceptions include:
• • If a program or class is cancelled by the City of Litchfield Park
If a participant is injured, ill, or has a medical condition preventing them from participating Written documention from a medical provider must accompany the refund request
Refund requests outside of the stated exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are made at the discretion of the Community & Recreation Services Director and are not guarenteed. A $10 administrative fee will be deducted from all approved refund requests.

Residency
Welcome to the Litchfield Park Recreation Center! You do not need to live in our city to register for our recreation programs, but it is important for us to know if you live in within our city limits Why? People who live or own property within the boundaries of our city are eligible for special discounted rates
There are many people who live in Litchfield Park that are not city residents They live in county islands that surround the City of Litchfield Park but remain outside of our city boundaries If you have a Litchfield Park mailing address but do not pay for city services or vote in city elections, then you live in a county island and are considered a non-resident.

Weather Policy
AQUATICS - In the event an Aquatics class is cancelled due to inclement weather, one make-up lesson will be offered per session Details will be emailed to affected participants
YOUTH SPORTS - In the event games are cancelled due to inclement weather, no make-up games will be scheduled. Practices may be rescheduled at the coach’s discretion.
SPECIAL EVENTS - Events are typically held rain or shine. If an event is cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather, updates will be posted to our website and social media accounts. Affected participants or ticket holders will receive direct communications
Two lap lanes are offered during open swim hours. From August 4 - September1 , one lap lane will be available Monday - Wednesday during the open swim hours unless reserved for programming Lanes are first come, first served

Litchfield Lagartos Summer Swim Team
Registration for the 2025 Lagartos Summer Swim Team will begin on Monday, April 14, 2025 and end on Friday, June 13, 2025 The Lagartos swim team is a summer recreational team with swim coaches dedicated to participants learning all four strokes (backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and freestyle), building endurance and swimming skills in a fun, low stress, and safe environment! Participants will make new friends and be introduced to the competitive swimming world all while improving their swimming skills. Lagartos is designed for children 4 - 18 years of age. SWIM TEAM REQUIREMENTS
Participants must be able to swim one lap of the pool (25 yards) unassisted. The age group the participant will swim in is determined by their age on June 1, 2025 due to league regulations.*
*Swim-up Policy: If a participant between the ages of 9 - 14 has participated in any swimming team/club outside of the MarWest League from August 1, 2024 thru May 1, 2025, the participant must compete one age group higher due to league restrictions.

The foundation of Parent-Tot is for participants to gain a set of basic skills that help prepare infants and young children to become comfortable in the water so they are willing and ready to learn to swim. This class also provides parents with information and techniques to create safer aquatic environments for their children. This an introduction course to basic aquatic lifesaving and first aid for minors seeking to learn more about becoming a Lifeguard. The program provides guidance, challenges, and activities to participants between the ages of 10 to 15 who are interested in furthering their experience in lifeguarding. Dive-In Movie Night
Cool off on a hot summer night floating in the pool or relaxing poolside while watching movies We will be offering families three movies this summer ADMISSION: $6 per person or a valid membership pass. Children 3 years and under are $2 each.
Players will learn the Challenger way, featuring an appbased platform which will help players prepare before camp, efficiently during camp, and help them continue their education and skill development with camp homework and on-going virtual training throughout their season. Held at Staggs Park, 300 S Old Litchfield Rd, Litchfield Park.
The co-ed tee ball skills clinic is for kids ages 3 to 6. Kids will develop the skills needed to successfully play in our Tee Ball league.
Parent involvement is highly encouraged. Clinics will be located at Jackie Robinson Ball Field.

Rec Center Facility Policies
• All patrons utilize the Rec Center facilities and participate in activities at their own risk.
• Children 9 and under must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times, unless the child is participating in a supervised recreation program. Please see the Front Desk for specific policies regarding weight room and pool use by minors.
• Patrons must wear appropriate attire at all times. Clothing that is offensive, suggestive or overly revealing is not allowed. Shoes and shirts are required at all times, except while in the pool area. Proper swim attire is required in order to swim in the pool. Anyone in violation of the dress code will be asked to change clothes or leave the facility.
• Use of cameras, cell phone cameras, and video cameras are prohibited in all bathrooms and changing rooms. Any photography must be approved by management.
• Smoking devices, tobacco, drugs, alcohol, and weapons are prohibited while using the Rec Center facilities.
• Animals are prohibited unless they are registered service animals accompanying persons with disabilities or special needs.
• Please be aware of and follow all posted rules and guidelines.
Code of Conduct
The City of Litchfield Park expects reasonable and appropriate behavior from those who visit and use the facilities and participate in activities. The Community and Recreation Services Department has established a code of conduct to ensure safety and enjoyment and reserves the right to deny admission and/or take disciplinary action against any individual violating the code of conduct. A violation includes, but is not limited to, the use of obscene language or gestures, disorderly conduct, theft, use of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco products, sexual misconduct, indecency, harassment, failure to cooperate with staff, possession of weapons of any kind, non-compliance with established policies and rules, an unlawful activity and any other behavior deemed offensive or unacceptable. Staff will enforce this code of conduct.
