Responsibility: City Manager December 1, 2021 Update In November, the FPRA approved submitting a $500,000 grant to the Florida Department of State to renovate the Jackie L. Caynon Building to house the Highwaymen Museum. The grant in the amount of $499,962 was submitted on November 30, 2021. The grant received support from Senator Gayle Harrell and Representative Dana Trabulsy. The Highwaymen have scheduled several fundraisers and embarked on an awareness campaign to spread the word about the Highwaymen Specialty Tag. To date 98 vouchers have been presold. The organization has until October 2022 to presale 3,000 vouchers in order for the tag to be printed.
