December 1, 2021 Update
St. Lucie County has taken the lead in developing a comprehensive plan to address homelessness and housing in our county. Working with the City of Fort Pierce and City of Port St. Lucie, the County is in the process of forming the new One St. Lucie Community Homelessness Task Force to develop strategies to prevent, reduce and end chronic individual homelessness in our area. This 13-member task force will meet monthly to help community leaders end homelessness throughout St. Lucie County.
