Super sport weekend of league and netball eXCItINg age grade rugby
league games and intense netball matches made for a super sport weekend. the bCI Stadium drew an enthusiastic crowd to cheer on the age grade players during the day before the premier grade teams took to the ield to play under lights. during the day at the bCI stadium the under 16 eels and Panthers game was a ierce battle that resulted in the eels winning 30-22 while the bears were
comprehensive winners in the under 19 division 24-14 against the Bulldogs. It was a tit-for-tat affair in the under 19 eels and Panthers game with both sides evenly contesting every facet of the game however, it was the eels that had the extra oomph to win by one point 27-26. the eels were victorious against the Panthers 32-18 in the reserve grade, but went down 22-16 in the premier grade. the bears slaughtered the
Sea eagles 44-6 in the reserve grade. Meanwhile, at the telecom Sports Arena – netball fans were treated to fantastic games of netball with the Avatiu netball clubs premier teams first ever win over defending champions titikaveka in the premier grade still a cause for celebrations in the swamp. today we share some images of the sports action from the weekend. - Matariki Wilson
