Maker Bay Ltd. Apprentice
Maker Bay is Hong Kong’s largest maker space focused on social and environmental impacts. During the apprenticeship I contributed in making an eco-material library and ran a platform to encourage makers to use sustainable material. In collaboration with a RCA graduate, we launched Natural Factory.org and its community of practice.

The winter trainee programme involves assisting the latest product showcase of Mattel to buyers of the toy industry. Contributed to display design that works in collaboration with toy designers from various Fisher Price Units.

Product Design Intern During the three months internship I have assisted the design team in design development and production: from research on lighting, ideation, CAD concept visualization, drafting manufacturing spec sheets, to creating sample reviews and installation guides. Core pendant is showcased at Maison and Objet, Paris 2015, Salone De Mobile, Milan 2016. Bolt wall light won a runner up at NYC X Design Award 2016.

In the internship I have been responsible for their entire sub-brand &care, from market positioning, corporate identity , packaging to product design. & care is a local brand and a social enterprise of leather good.
The summer Internship programme invloves all stages of Product Design of Fisher Price Toys. Involved in the control drawing drafting and communication with CAD draftmens for various Little People playset. In which three of the projects are currently in market, avalible on Ebay, Alibaba and in Toys’Rus.

In the internship I helped in all stages of their product design from research to idea generation to model making and communicating with factories.I helped the development of their new interactive lighting and the mini version of soft toys.
The concept generated is put in development, it is currently in prototyping stage.

Organized a product design course: “Made to Talk: Discursive Design” to secondary school student from F.4-F.6. introduced critical design to the visual arts education of the SS DSE. One of the student’s work won Gold prize at Exhibition of Secondary School Students' Creative Visual Arts Work by EDB.

Worked in partner with the design consultancy’s co-founder on a commercial client project of a smart jumping rope. In this fast paced project I generated in depth trend analyisis and design insights, created concept designs with CMF details.

A self-initiated student-led open innovation group aiming at fostering debate and triggering actions on design and current social affairs among all SD members, currently there are more than 90 School of Design Students connected with SD OI.
Collaboration project with fellows from Bachelor of Industrial Product Design, the project aims to start a small catering business that brings critical food design to the commercial market.
