This Bellevue baby boutique is a boho mom’s paradise. —LAUREN FISHER BETWEEN THE WARM PASTEL RAIN-

bows on the walls and the kid-sized rattan furniture, Sage & Scout oozes an effortless cool-mom aesthetic that can make parenthood look like it is nothing but smooth sailing. But this boho baby boutique also knows that having a baby can be a messy business—which is why, in between the unicorn stuffed animals and seagrass bassinet stroller (built to hold toys, mind you), you’ll also find practical essentials, like muslin changing pad covers, lactation tea, and plates that

suction to high chairs. “We do our best to find merchandise that comes from another small business whenever possible,” says owner Kelti Ziese. “Supporting small businesses has always been key for us. We especially dig local vendors.” Sage & Scout takes design notes from its sister shop, Coda Co., located next door. The products have been carefully curated by Ziese, but the muted, bohemian vibes at Sage & Scout aren’t just for show. Everything is intentional, from the layout

of the boutique to the gender-neutral product colors that’ll fit any nursery. “There’s something that can fit anyone’s style,” Ziese says. And the shop puts a special emphasis on sourcing natural, kid-friendly products that don’t just look good—they’re also good for the planet. Eco-conscious moms will love toddler essentials like the Monstera teethers, crafted from all-natural beechwood, or the fringe quilts, made of cotton muslin that gets softer with every wash.
