Beginner: write one or more words in French to describe places that people in our class like, using sensory details (e.g. describing the weather - what you can see, hear, feel - hot, cold, sunny, rainy, etc.) Intermediate: a write sentences in French to describe places that people in our class like, using sensory details (e.g. describing the weather - what you can see, hear, feel - hot, cold, sunny, rainy, etc.) Advanced: write one or more words in French to describe places that people in our class like, using sensory details (e.g. describing the weather - what you can see, hear, feel - hot, cold, sunny, rainy, etc.) and compare them to places in the francophone world Preparation You will need to have students provide images of places they know, to discuss in the Card Talk or Slide Talk. If you have not already done this, you will need to ask students to upload an image to your shared Slide Talk or sketch on a card, if you are using the original Card Talk variation.
