1. Training. The training program has the main goal to provide Hispanic immigrants in the United States with more and beier educa4onal tools for beier work and professional performance. It focuses on 4 main areas: -‐Naturaliza4on: This branch focuses on the 9 million Hispanic (7 million Mexicans) that need to become naturalized ci4zens to access beier job opportuni4es and a beier life. It is mainly based on the training to present the naturaliza4on test of the U.S. government, for which knowledge of English and U.S. civic rights are needed. -‐English: The knowledge of the official language of the new country of residence of migrants is a determinant factor, not only for their daily lives, but for their professional and educa4onal lives as well. This program has as target audience of 16 million Hispanics (12 million Mexicans) that don’t have a good understanding of English and thus the integra4on of the same in all areas is truncated. -‐Spanish: Training in Spanish is and will remain a tool that gives a bonus to Hispanic migrants who manage both languages. Therefore, this area aims to train 12 million Hispanics in this language who do not speak properly (especially the third genera4on). -‐ICT’s: There are 11.5 million La4nos in the United States that don’t have a good understanding of how to use Informa4on and Communica4on Technologies and that don’t have access to informa4on and other important plaoorms (mainly the third genera4on). Therefore, CIELO aims to prepare them for the acquisi4on of this knowledge and that they can be more connected to the world.
