CASTING BRIEF ENGLISH

GENERAL OBJECTIVE You have to create a TV serie, and develop all the pre-production aspect that involves the script process. We are looking for four middle class average families. They know each other very well and their relationships and reactions are sincere, very expressive and natural. They must have a pleasant look. Good and expressive actors. They must transmit empathy to our consumer.

FAMILY 1. Representing a family of the â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;80s. Mother and father: about 50 years old. Adult children: (son and daughter). Age: around 25 years old. They get on well and are having a good time. Grandfather and grandmother: age around 75 years old. FAMILY 2. Representative family of the 90s. Father and mother: around 40 years old. Children: girl about 15 years old. Boy about 12 years old. FAMILY 3. Representative family of the 2000. Father and mother: age around 30 years old. They must look good parents, nice and expressive. Child: Baby about 18 months FAMILY 4. Representative family of the present-day. Couple: around 25 years old. Father-in-law and mother-in-law (of him): age around 50 years old. They are not the typical parentâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s in-law. The relationship with their daughter and with their son-in-law is good and natural.

- Biography: He was born in California in 1952. His father was a police man, and his mother was a prostitute, who left him when he was born. So his childhood was developed in an orphanage. And actually, he is a detective because he aims to overcome his father.

- Bio fathers Mark Tyler was a respected police officer of high rank, married to Birgit, a housewife of German origin. He met her during an international case, when he came to the post of sausages. After two months resolving the case, he asked marriage and they returned to the United States. After an accident, this was left her sterile. Ignorant, they keep trying. And some time later, Tyler discovers a case where he could find the salvation. Christopher is an alcoholic and is involved innumerous cases. His son is just what they will need.

- Biography: She's always been a woman-confident and aware of who is beautiful and desired. But this perception changes when her second husband, married her only for her fortune. With marriage destroyed and isolated from her only family, Melissa took refuge in alcohol until two years ago that would meet the detective Owen.

Bio fathers:

Abigail was a well known Hollywood actress famous for her beauty and sensuality supernatural. He managed to become famous with the help of a renowned independent filmmaker of the era: Ethan Levard. Shortly thereafter be known in the world of cinema as the golden couple, as their work together, managed to be a resounding success. Was gradually emerging love between them, until Abigail accidentally became pregnant, forcing her to stop her successful career to devote himself entirely dry to motherhood. Given this fact, a few years after Ethan, decided to accompany his wife and daughter Melissa, in their day to day, leaving Abigail, indefinitely from the world of cinema. Years after her second child would be born. - Biography: Christopher Wire, is a person accustomed to anonymity. A person, who despite his safety, he has certain shortcomings and try to satisfy his needs. Its sole aim is to repeat the suffering endured by the father of Owen, in his son. Banker by profession began to drink and turned into a violent abuser forgetting your family and even his own newborn son, Ben. Aware that he was investigated by the police, for dealing information and money. Up come a day when his wife wanted to reveal to defend his son from the beatings of his father, and killed her accidentally. Given this fact, the policeman who was handling the case and research, saw his chance to have children result: secretly adopt the helpless baby, who later would be called Owen. - Social relations: We unknown his social relations until the end. He`s working alone and donâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t have any friend. He use his contacts to solve his pain and to accomplish the revenge.

- Hobbies: His unique goal is to commit the perfect revenge. He have a good collections of revolvers.

Upon discovering that the father is died, he decides to try to kill Owen (repudiation), appearing in his life, as an alleged FBI supervisor.

Christopher wants to kill his child to satisfy the revenge that he can’t commit over Owen father. Christopher will play a role of a victim to Owen eyes, and at the end, he will shoot him. Owen shows the clues of the case to her (including the ones that she creates).

She will stop with the revenge. She’s already fall in love with him. Melissa at the possibility of the death, she realizes that she loves him Christopher try to shoot again Owen to be convinced that he’ll died. And then, he was shot by his son (defense). He’s imprisoned for the rest of his life.

Owen resolves the case, ignoring the false clues. And they get marriage.

Tells Owen’s father imprisoned his biological one.

EPISODE 1:  Characters presentation : Owen is a lonely person who only has professionals relations and sometimes meets whit any girl. The episode begin whit Owen shows as a police man that is closing successfully a case. Until the moment in which appear the girl…Melissa. Melissa always has been a woman-confident and aware of who is beautiful and desired. But this perception changes when her second husband, married her only for her fortune. In this first episode, Owen, close one irrelevant case. Melissa appears and change the structure of the TV series (we have one complex structure. It’s an episodic structure with another and (main) case that will take the all season). Owen will discover an important cloud for the main case. The beginning of Owen’s obsession.

EPISODE 2:



Owen, during this episode, will start investigating Melissa case. Knowing her situation, Melissa wants get revenge with Owen helps. This one will work on it, but what really is happening is that Melissa, will create false clues to satisfy herself. She didn’t pardon what her husband did to her. And now, it’s her turn to smile a little bit. However, little by little, Melissa wants to get back communication with her sister.



Owen investigating this new case will find some confidential archive of an unclosed case, related directly to his life. Presentation of the antagonist, Christopher Wire.

III.

EPISODE 3:  A new case appears (kidnapping). 

Owen now, is over the accomplishment of the case. His really very close to find the culprit. All the truth of the personal (and main) case indicates that Christopher Wire, is the biologic father of Owen.



Complex case: o Discovering the real father of Owen o Discovering what moves Christopher reaction (goals) o Discovering that Owen’s father imprisoned his biological one. o And finally, we know that Cristopher wants to kill his child to satisfy the revenge that he can’t commit over Owen father.



Christopher will play a role of a victim to Owen eyes, and at the end, he will shoot him. What he ignores is that Owen is alive, and he will resolve surely the case. (Alfred tells to him that his father was imprisoned by his biological one).

 IV.

EPISODE 4:  Owen has been seriously injured. But get that shot to overcome betrayal. Melissa at the possibility of the death, she realizes that she loves him and wants. They sleep together, and begin to leave. Finally discover who tried to assassinate him, and he is imprisoned.

SINOPSIS FIRST EPISODE In the first episode, Owen will live one more day of his routine life as a detective. He’ll stir documentation, working in some banal cases and finally, he’ll go to his second home, the RED STREET club. There, he will pay the services of his prostitute ever. Without resting, he’ll go to the office where he’ll work until coming across Melissa Levard, who will propose a case. A case that he cannot refuse.

STEP OUTLINE Nº01 EP. Nº1 SC. INT. LOC: OFFICE. NIGHT Owen is seen picking up his desk, turning off the light, put on his hat and coat, preparing to leave. Nº01 EP. Nº2 SC. EXT. LOC: RED STREET. NIGHT Owen is talking with a prostitute who seems to know. He’s ready to hire their services ... Nº01 EP. Nº3 SC. INT. LOC: RED STREET BEDROOM. NIGHT Passionate sex scene. Nº01 EP. Nº4 SC. INT. LOC: RED STREET BEDROOM. DAWN This prostitute frequented by Owen, falls asleep in the hotel, while this, dresses and leaves. No, not before, leave a note on the bedside table, thanking him and telling her that his services will be required soon, and the money behind. Nº01 EP. Nº5 SC. INT. LOC: OFFICE. MID-DAY After a night of uninhibited, Owen returns to his office to resolve accumulated paperwork. After two hours of documentation and several cafes, he realizes that someone is arguing with his assistant at the entrance to his office. Levard Melissa is asked by the assistant and she says thaht she don’t need his help. With a frivolous pose of superiority (dressed elegantly, with asmug, enigmatic hat, smoking a cigarette fine), she shall enter the office where Owen, surprised by the situation and will stand, wondering who is this lady. Once seated, Melissa will discuss the case. 13

IN THE EVENING ... Melissa leaves, and Owen, explore in solitude for a couple of hours, the case of this woman. Tomorrow, he will discuss how it will undertake the research.

Nยบ01 EP. Nยบ6 SC. EXT. LOC: ISOLATED STREET. NIGHT Melissa is on a lonely road where she will find a man, which she says "you're all set. You will have news soon. "

AFTERNOON Just outside, Melissa entered into the limousine that’s waiting for her at the entrance and inside, she find herself face to Chrystopher Wire (presentation of character as a possible antagonist). Melissa tells him that her plan is underway. (flashback 2) Nº02 EP. Nº3 SC. INT. LOC: RED STREET BEDROOM. MORNING Start a new day for Owen, who wakes up late in his usual club. Drunk and dazed. Nº02 EP.Nº4 SC. INT. LOC:MELISSA HOUSE. MORNING Melissa, nervous, calls a pawn for the next attack. She begins her plan with his help, introducing false clues: false testimony of the sister rape, false robbery ofLevard family heritage.

Nº02 EP. Nº5 SC. INT. LOC: OFFICE. MID-DAY Owen is reviewing the documentation in the case of Melissa and decided to call for a meeting to eat, so check a witness does not fit. 15

Nº02 EP. Nº6 SC. EXT. LOC:BISTRO RESTAURANT. MID-DAY Owen sat at the table, see Melissa appearing, who quickly comes to the table by the sign that made Owen. Once there, Owen, says the doubts he has. And she, nervously, begins a flirtation to demonstrate safety. Finally, Owen surrenders to their charms. Owen gets a call and must leave the meeting. And they meet later for dinner at her house to finish discussing the case. Nº02 EP. Nº7 SC. INT. LOC:OFFICE. AFTERNOON/NIGHT In the office, he finds an envelope on his desk, where he will come across information related to his past. Nº02 EP. Nº8 SC. INT. LOC:MELISSA HOUSE. NIGHT Melissa receives Owen, dressed to seduce. They sit down and begin to eat, while Melissa will fill the cup of wineto get him drunk. And Melissa finally is kissed by the detective, in the farewell. Nº02 EP. Nº9 SC. EXT. LOC: DARK STREET. NIGHT Melissa meets with the person that’s helping her. She pulls out a gun and shoot.

SINOPSIS THIRD EPISODE In this third episode… OWEN will resolve a new case (kidnapping) and his on the road to conclude the investigation of MELISSA. His really very close to find the culprit. STEP OUTLINE Nº03 EP. Nº1 SC. EXT. LOC: ISOLETED STREET. NIGHT MELISSA is still at the isolated street with her contact. (She shot in the floor close to him)The contact, afraid, continues to talk with her. MELISSA gives to him a second chance and she, go back to home. Nº03 EP. Nº2 SC. INT. LOC: OFFICE. MID-DAY OWEN is working all the morning, and he receives a call from MELISSA. She wants to meet him to pass one more night. They return to Bistro Restaurant. Nº03 EP. Nº3 SC. EXT. LOC:BISTRO RESTAURANT. NIGHT MELISSA and OWEN, are in the restaurant, talking about the case. After that, MELISSA invites him to drink something in her house. Nº03 EP. Nº4 SC. INT. LOC:MELISSA HOUSE. NIGHT MELISSA prepares some cocktails, and they start a long conversation. They have sex and at mid-night, OWEN wakes up, he needs something to drink. Going to the kitchen, he starts to read some documents in the table. He can’t believe it, this documents talk about him, about his life. He is adopted! After that, he leaves MELISSA house. Nº03 EP. Nº6 SC. INT. LOC:ALFRED HOUSE. MID-DAY OWEN wakes up in the sofa of ALFRED house. They start to talk, and OWEN starts to ask him about what he discovered.

Nº03 EP. Nº7 SC. INT. LOC:OFFICE. AFTERNOON OWEN can’t believe the situation, and calls MELISSA. She arrives, and they’re talking about the case, MELISSAS one. OWEN acts as if he didn’t know the truth. Suddenly, they listen something outside. CHRYSTOPHER WIRE appears. At lobby, they start to talk and CHRYSTOPHER become aggressive. The truth is on the table. He takes his gun, and they talk about their past. MELISSA, in the middle, acts playing the role of mediator. Finally, WIRE shoots OWEN.

STEP OUTLINE EPISODE FOUR

SYNOPSIS The fourth chapter is fixed by the redemption and the drama. Chrystopher Wire shot OWEN, who has been seriously injured. The good news is that he overcomes the shot and he’s alive. Thanks to this fact, Chrystopher returns to prison and MELISSA leaves the idea of revenge, sharing a beautiful and routine love story with the detective, OWEN Tyler. STEP OUTLINE

Nº04 EP. Nº1 SC. INT. LOC:HOSPITAL. NIGHT OWEN wakes up in a hospital, after the accident (Chrystopher shoot him on a leg) and sees MELISSA behind him... OWEN, confused by the accident, have many question for her, in order to put a little bit of order in his mind. What means “all that is your fault”?, is one of the key sentences, that he remembers. MELISSA tries to avoid the questionnaire of OWEN, suggesting that he must take a rest. Few hours later the nurse gives to him the medical high, with the diagnosis.

Nº04 EP. Nº2 SC. INT. LOC:ALFRED HOUSE.MORNING ALFRED carries OWEN to his house, and tries to calm the doubts of OWEN. He’s shocked due to the situation, and ALFRED argues that his father will be always, his father. Doesn’t matter who was the biological one. Someone, MELISSA, is knocking at the door. She apologizes what she did, and she confess her feelings. She falls in love about him. However, OWEN wants to understand, he ask about MELISSA reasons. MELISSA tells him that she made this entire thing to make him know he was adopted. Because she find information by chance, and decide to give to him, find it first, and he thought that she was laying

about him all this but he him.

And time later, they were in the church, living their own marriage. 19

SCRIPT OF EPISODE ONE

01 1 EXT.: STREET. AFTERNOON Two men are running down a street. THE THIEF turns into an alley. When the POLICE MEN tries to catch up him, he jumps the wall and run away… OWEN (27, educated in an orphanage, he follow the goal of overcoming his father as police men) is waiting him just on the corner.

POLICE ONE Stop running! Both are running down the street, the police stop trying to shoot, but he regret.

POLICE ONE (Shout) Freeze!!

The police lost him when he jumps a wall. The thief runs trusted he is safe. Just right there, at the corner is OWEN. OWEN (laughging) Well done…your plan was been perfect: the rubbery, the diamonds…the girl…Oh! Yes, the girl… Women always in the middle…and what better that force her to come whit you there, wait till police came, and then you would shoot her, everybody will thought was the police…and you would run away with your present: The eye of Thusembërg, the only red diamond in the world. Pause; they look each other. OWEN stills pointing him with the weapon. OWEN Yes, your plan was been very well till the moment you lose your mind with that girl… (Smiling) What how do I know? Couse she is a POLICE WOMEN… Stupid waste of the space!

Here OWEN, I´ve got the suspect. Alley south of the 23 with the street Roat. (by radio) While the POLICE is talking, the robber is pulling a gun…Suddenly a sounds a shoot…

01 1 INT.: OFFICE. NIGHT OWEN is seen picking up his desk, turning off the light, put on his hat and coat, preparing to leave. But someone of FBI, come to congratulate him. CHRISTOPHER WIRE Hello DETECTIVE TAYLER, my name is CHRISTOPHER WIRE, I’m from the FBI Justice Department.

OWEN Hello, Mr WIRE, nice to meet you… May I help you? WIRE Oh! Doesn’t matter. I’m here just to congratulate you for your mission today…We were chasing this guy for several months. I don’t know yet how could you catch him…

OWEN is picking up his things. OWEN Oh, not take this wrong, but if I reveal my secret, people would not hire me.

WIRE by the Owens answer, laughs. WIRE I see…Well, my sincerely congratulation. And if you are interesting in evolve…just call me. WIRE gives him his card. OWEN I´ll take it into account…

01 2 EXT.:RED STREET. NIGHT OWEN is talking with a prostitute who seems to know. He’s ready to hire their services ...

The PROSTITUTE come to him and starts to flirt.

01 3 INT.: RED STREET BEDROOM. NIGHT Passionate sex scene. 01 4 INT.: RED STREET BEDROOM. DAWN This prostitute, frequented by OWEN, falls asleep in the hotel, while OWEN is dressing. He leaves a note on the table, thanking and telling her that her services will be required soon. He leaves the money and goes out. On the note he writes: “Thanks for your services; You´re always there… Remember just sex, don’t love. Here is your money. Don’t worry, there are more than usually, but you deserve it…” OWEN (whispering) 22

After two hours of documentation and several cafes (OWEN appears tired, with several coffees glasses on the table),he realizes that someone is arguing with his assistant at the entrance to his office. ASSISTANT Do you have an appointment with MR. OWEN?

MELISSA Yes, but don’t disturb me. I don’t need your help, simple assistant! With a frivolous pose of superiority (dressed elegantly, some smug, enigmatic hat, smoking a cigarette fine), she shall enter into to the office MELISSA How are you, DETECTIVE OWEN? ASSITANT Sorry sir, I can’t do anything to prevent. OWEN Don’t worry, now please, let us alone. Submissive, the assistant leaves the room. I don’t expect anybody. I’m OWEN TYLOR. Please, take a sit. Script episode two 02. 1. INT. ABBEY. AFTERNOON MELISSA is entering into the convent. A nun guides her… ALICE LEVARD (16), MELISSA’ sister, is a tall and an interested person. SISTER MELISSA I didn’t expect you! Nobody told me, what are you doing here?

MELISSA LEVARD (25), is a woman-confident and aware of who is beautiful and desired she is. MELISSA Actually, I shouldn’t after what you did. MELISSA says, looking her nails. SISTER So… don’t you come to see me… MELISSA Of course, not to see you, only that I wantis to be sure that you were still enclosed, honey. SISTER ALICE will wipe the smile off his face. Well, so, you can go now! That’s enough for me! ALICE stands up. MELISSA No, wait a second, I’ve gotta something to tell you.
