Letter from Our Pastors 40 Years of
It was the spring of 1984 when a small Bible study began in my parents’ living room. My parents were always involved in church, always serving wherever they were needed—even serving as our Sunday School teachers for all four years of high school. While they had always opened their home for Bible studies and small groups, on that night in April of 1984, there was something different. That first night, as about 20 people gathered, none of us had any idea that this was actually the beginning of a new spiritual family—our Christ Fellowship family.
In that house was love and acceptance, and joy and anticipation for what God was getting ready to do. In that house were people with hearts surrendered to the will and the Word of God. And what we love most about what we celebrate today is that all that love, anticipation, and hunger for God are still in the house. Only it’s so much better today because YOU are in the house.
While you may not have been there when we moved into the schoolhouse or converted an old barn into a place of worship or launched our first campuses—you were the reason for all of it. With every step of faith celebrated within these pages—every sacrifice made—you were on our hearts and minds.
As we look ahead, we know there are more people God wants us to reach and more places He is asking us to go. But expectation requires preparation and participation.
This season of Heart for the House helps us prepare for what we’re praying for.
PREPARE FOR WHAT WE’RE PRAYING FOR
We’re believing for a radical transformation of our region with more spaces for people to come and find Jesus (see pages 22 and 24).
We’re praying for a radical transformation of a generation (more of that on page 18).
And we know more families like the Inverso Family are waiting on us (make sure you read their story on page 26).
So, as we enter this season, ask God how He wants you to be a part of making room for more people to find the hope and eternal life only Jesus can give.
This is our heart for this house.

SUMMER - After outgrowing the Mullins’ home, the church starts meeting in the Cafetorium of Grove Park Elementary School.
After outgrowing the elementary school, the church prays about buying an old horse barn on Northlake Blvd. Once purchased, work begins six days a week to build the sanctuary by hand.
We triple in size as we move into our first permanent location—what we now know as the Palm Beach Gardens South Campus.
Over the last 40 years, many moments have marked Christ Fellowship Church and moved the mission forward. While this timeline couldn’t possibly contain or convey all that God has done, we hope it gives you a glimpse of the house we’re building.
Over 4,000 gather for the groundbreaking of the 40-acre property of the Palm Beach Gardens North Campus. One year later, we open the doors to the first services, with 6,000 people in attendance.

BIANCA AND AIDEN
DEFINING MOMENTS DIRECT DESTINIES
Bianca and Aiden’s story, in their own words:
BIANCA
Last year, when I heard the vision to Get There First, I had no idea the personal impact it would have on my own family. After our family move left him feeling uprooted, my 16-year-old son Aiden was a different kid—in personality, habits, demeanor, and even his involvement with church. Last summer, right before MVMNT Camp, I prayed that this moment would mark him.
“God, the timing of MVMNT Camp cannot be a coincidence. Will You place him around people who will care for him and bring life around him again? I pray that he leans in and hears You speak to him. We are believing for these next few days to mark him in some way.”
-Bianca’s prayer, Aiden’s mom
AIDEN
Going into MVMNT Camp, I had no expectations. While I used to be the kid on the front row of worship jumping as high as I could—at that moment, I felt I had hit rock bottom. After praying to God for the first time in a long time, I decided to talk to my village leader Shaun who gave me a new perspective and prayed over me.
HEART FOR THE HOUSE 2024 14
“Dear Jesus, we lift up Aiden today. Help him to grow in his relationship with You by being faithful in reading your Word daily. Give him the courage to be a witness for You in his school, and give him pastors, leaders, and teachers who will guide him in his calling and purpose.”
-Jim & Lynann, a couple praying for Aiden on the Get There First Prayer Team
“God, I pray that Aiden would encounter You through his path at MVMNT Camp, and through the rest of his journey in life. May he understand the vision that You have set forth for him.”
-Shaun’s prayer, Aiden’s MVMNT Camp village leader
BIANCA
When we picked up Aiden from camp, we didn’t get back the same kid. We got back revival, literally. As others continued to rally around our family in prayer, people like Jim and Lynann, who were praying for Aiden as part of the Get There First Prayer Team— these people who weren’t related to us by blood prayed for us as if they were.
AIDEN
After MVMNT Camp, my perspective changed. I looked forward to church again,
cracked open my Bible more, joined the Called Retreat, and started attending Celebrate Recovery. Because of Shaun, Jim & Lynann, my family, and everybody who has given to Heart for the House and the vision to Get There First for my generation—I see hope because of the people I’m surrounded by.
BIANCA
When my son was headed in the wrong direction, the care and intentionality of those around him created a space for Aiden to thrive—things I couldn’t do as a parent that our church was equipped to do. If we’re going to Get There First for the next generation, it’s going to take all of us.

VISION 2024
HEART FOR THE HOUSE 2024 18
It’s been said that in the race to the heart of the next generation, the first one there wins. This is why last year, we launched Get There First—a multi-year strategy to do more to reach the next generation for Christ. This isn’t just a vision to lead a radical transformation in our region we’re believing in a radical transformation of a generation.
HOW WE WILL GET THERE FIRST IN 2024
We are anticipating another year of sold-out Summer Camps at all of our locations as we host 7 different camps for thousands of kids and students from every age and stage!
Kids U, our midweek discipleship programming now offered at all locations and doubling in size since it launched, will continue to impact thousands of kids who are growing in God’s Word. And new this year is Kids U Jr. for preschoolers!

CHRIST FELLOWSHIP CHURCH
VISION 2024: GET THERE FIRST
We will continue to create experiences just for kids at events throughout the year like Amazing, the Freedom Encounter, and Revival Night!
We will continue our collective care for foster and adoptive families in our church through mentorship, resources, “parents’ night out,” and a CarePortal.
INVESTING IN THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS
This Fall, we will host Student Leadership University (SLU 101), a two-day conference for students that will shape the way they think, dream, and lead.
Also, we will host our annual Called Retreat, a retreat for students who specifically feel called into ministry and mission work—championing this calling and equipping them with practical next steps.

MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Students will be serving on international mission trips to Bolivia, Honduras, and Japan.
Young Adults will be serving on international mission trips to Japan and Uganda.
And Families will be serving on an international mission trip to Honduras and two-day local experiences serving together right here in our communities.
EQUIPPING MINDS FOR MINISTRY AND THE MARKETPLACE
We will expand Southeastern University at Christ Fellowship (CFSEU) in the years to come—with a vision to provide outstanding Christian leadership training through accredited classes for Dual Enrollment, Undergraduate, and Master’s Degrees.
Coming soon...
We have a conceptual plan to build a multi-unit residence that will house both students and resident interns—opening enrollment for prospective students across the country, and making CFSEU a premier destination in Christian education!

JUPITER
CHRIST FELLOWSHIP JUPITER MOVES INTO ITS FIRST-EVER PERMANENT LOCATION—RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO ITS FUTURE HOME!
Last year, we shared the news that we were planting permanent roots in the town of Jupiter as we purchased the former Jupiter Fitness Center building located in the heart of Jupiter on Indiantown Road. Our plans include a complete renovation of the 20,000-square-foot space into a 400-seat sanctuary. But while awaiting these renovations and continuing to meet at the Wyndham Grand, God opened a door right next door.
After six years as a portable campus, in the Fall of 2023, Christ Fellowship Jupiter moved into its first-ever
permanent location—a move-in ready, former church building located in the same parking lot as our future location! Once the new building is renovated, we will be able to use both spaces for multi-generational ministry, including ample space for kids, students, and classes. We anticipate opening the doors by Easter 2025—transforming this space where people worked out to a place where people can work out their faith and grow in their relationship with Jesus!

CORRADO AND DANTE
FAITH ON AND OFF THE FIELD
Corrado and Dante have grown up at Christ Fellowship. The brothers are not only dedicated to the game of football but put that same determination into their faith. Over the years, Corrado and Dante have faithfully led the First Priority Bible Club at Dwyer High School, where their simple invitation has turned into transformation—including dozens of salvations and baptisms, and students even bringing their own parents to church! This past Fall, the entire Dwyer Football Team joined the brothers in serving together at Make a Meal, and it’s rare to see them on a Wednesday night without teammates by their side—a testament to their influence both on and off the field.
Corrado, a senior and captain of the football team, attributes his passion for reaching his friends to how his church reached him, saying, “Christ Fellowship got there first in my life by being the rock I grew up on, and the reason my faith has grown to where it is today.”

BOCA RATON
EARLIER THIS YEAR, WE PURCHASED THE FORMER MACY’S FURNITURE STORE, STRATEGICALLY LOCATED ON GLADES ROAD!
What began as a seed planted through a strategy to “pop up” in the southernmost part of the region, Christ Fellowship Boca Raton has experienced exponential growth ever since opening its doors. While initial plans included the demolition of our current site to build a 400-seat auditorium—we knew the current growth trajectory would eventually outgrow those plans!
As we began to pray, God opened new doors right down the road. Earlier this year, we purchased the former Macy’s Furniture Store on Glades Road—a 50,000-square-foot building, sitting on 5 acres of land that we intend to transform into a 1,000-seat sanctuary with ample space for ministry for every generation. With a population of nearly 100,000 people, a large majority being unchurched—Boca Raton boasts opportunities to reach people for Jesus! We anticipate this new home will be ready by Christmas 2025, as we transform this store into a place for God to do exceedingly more!

CHRIST FELLOWSHIP CHURCH
OUR HEART FOR THIS HOUSE:
THE INVERSO FAMILY
A LIGHT FOR THE DARKEST DAYS
Tracy and Jonathan’s story, in their own words:
We started attending Christ Fellowship back when the Royal Palm Beach Campus was meeting at Polo Park Middle School. As we got married and had children, we moved to Pompano Beach—yet continued to make the drive to church because Christ Fellowship was always home. We didn’t realize just how much ‘home’ would mean until we went through the darkest days of our lives.
In 2010, we had our second child, a beautiful boy named Logan. While we were anticipating a healthy baby, at birth, he was unexpectedly diagnosed with CHARGE syndrome—a rare genetic condition that affects the heart, eyes, ears, nose, and other organs. Logan spent the first year of his life in the critical intensive care unit and had three open-heart surgeries by the time he celebrated his first birthday.
As Logan continued to beat all odds and flew his Superman journey through life, Christ Fellowship was a pivotal point along the way. On Sundays, our entire family, including Logan, could experience and enjoy church because of Christ Fellowship Kids’ Buddy Ministry. And on the days when plans changed, it was our pastors who would make the drive to Miami to dedicate Logan in a hospital room. When our own family couldn’t be there due to distance, our Christ Fellowship family went the distance.
In 2022, our journey with Logan came to a tragic end. The day before his 12th birthday and during his 26th surgery,
HEART FOR THE HOUSE 2024 26
The Inverso Family (Tracy, Jonathan, and Taylor) being prayed over on the Sunday they first went to Christ Fellowship Boca Raton.
what should’ve been a routine operation turned to unexpected complications as Logan turned in his Superman cape for angel wings. Instead of celebrating another year in his miracle journey of life, we were mourning the end of it.
In the days that followed, it was hard to get out of bed, much less drive the distance to church, but we knew that joy wouldn’t find us, we had to find it. That February, we heard that Christ Fellowship was opening a campus in Boca Raton our home church was now close to home. As we stepped foot onto a new campus with new faces, we still felt known. That Sunday, strangers even stopped to pray over our family, and Pastor Todd was one of the first familiar faces we saw— greeting us with “I’m so glad you’re here
today” and sharing anointed words where there were none.
While Logan’s life ended in a tragic and unexpected way, his journey still continues through our family. Today, you’ll find us serving every Sunday in the place that was always there for us. And our daughter Taylor has found spiritual siblings to champion her calling. We simply can’t get enough of encouraging others, because that’s the encouragement that was given to us. We’ve learned that when you pour your heart out where you’re planted, pain and peace can coexist. And we want more people to experience what we’ve found— hope for the darkest days and praise for the greatest ones.

CHRIST FELLOWSHIP CHURCH
IT’S NOT THE SIZE OF YOUR GIFT, BUT THE SIZE OF YOUR SACRIFICE
The church you see today wasn’t always this way. The 40 years of life change you see now started with 40 people in a living room. As we stand on the shoulders of 40 years of faithfulness, that generosity has spanned generations—a church always built on small beginnings and the sacrifices of many.
While you may not have been there when we moved into the schoolhouse or converted an old barn into a place of worship or launched our first campuses— you were the reason for all of it. This isn’t just the story of a church, it’s the story of your church. A story of our shared spiritual history and our future legacy. While what we start, we may not finish— what we finish, we didn’t start.
